	Ok so been doing a few more bits to the old girl, managed to source an unmolested grille so its virtually complete. Also replaced the snapped bonnet release catch on the slam panel Tadaaa Grille fitted (obviously wrong colour) Main job has been gutting the interior to check out the floor and the previous welding... George approves...I think So all in all not a bad base to work with, I'm going to grind the weld plates down and paint with Zinc 182 before painting over that for a final coat.

	Removed the rear bumper and arches, spoke to a painter last night so thought it best to remove everything. Found some more holes to weld up but nothing too evil

	A bit more work over the weekend, more removing of body kit and front wings to check for more rust however didn't find too much which was pleasing. Then turned my attention to the weld patches inside, rubbed down then painted with Etch primer, ive ordered seam sealer to finish them off

	Really cracking on now with the bodywork issues, heres the latest from a few weekend sessions. So front inner arch sorted Onto the rear strut tops ect.., had a chap pop round and do some welding for me, I then ground it down and prepped before sealing and painting Then same the other side Front floor next Still lots to do plus a small patch requiring a plate drivers side but nothing major, tried on my other alloys from my Punto GT as I'm thinking of running some wide rims with some bolt on arches, think it looks great, will need to do some trimming all over though. Booked in for re-paint in the next month or so just go to decide on a nice red, perhaps a candy red...

	Looking great top work! Is your Punto GT the light green one with the 16v turbo engine? I think you used to have a build for it on E38?

	LOVING the gt wheels. Never ever seen them , and i have fiats in my life for 30 years. What size are they? 15's ? 16's ? Beautiful rescue. my heart always sinks in the ground if you find rust in hidden places. Great work and keep ip tje pace! Lovely ride. Me jealous ;-)

	A small update on the old girl, sold my Comps last week so on the hunt for a new set, been looking at Schmidt Th lines in a 15". Sorted a few more surface rust spots aswell, then more removal of parts in prep for the repaint,head lining and sunroof removal now.. Had a past Uno turbo painted in VW Tornado red so will prob go for that again.
