390, one owner $3200 49K miles 2HT, barn find, $6100 Rolling shell, V8 manual, $2800 Think we had this base model 289/3spd manual car before $3800 SLED! $3200 $5800 seems a little steep? Lovely old cars though Ugly as sin and twice as tempting, only a 6 and its a manual, but $4200 buys it. Big assed Bonneville, 400 V8 (sure thats not a 389?) for $4850 obo Now this I would roll in. Seriously. 389 GP $5900 No rust ever Volvo 2 door auto B20 $4K That Riviera Touch. $2490 Eric & Ernie would be proud. Woodride wagon $1950 this has been for sale for yonks. Like 2 years to my knowledge I'm sure. $3250 must be a bit steep for it. Shall we see whats in the Desert, a little way in from these coastal finds?

What an eye opener! Tat is cheaper than I expected in cheeseburger land. I have an ambition to go out into the vast deserts of America with some sort of car transporting equipment and go treasure hunting, bagging myself some hotrod fodder and bringing it home.
Of all of those I reckon i'd have that '64 Buick Riviera, such a fantastic shape car!

I always am surprised how some of the low end tat is much more expensive than it is over here.
For example late 80s early 90s stuff which would struggle to sell for £50 here and you see it punting about for $1000. Those 80s Lincolns I saw a few up at like $2999 and watch them on eBay - they sell for that!
Its always the higher value stuff which is better value and thats mostly due to the exchange rate.
There are still bargains to be had though.
And until you take into accound the higher wages and that over in the US cars do seem cheaper in general over here.
