It's a 1989 auto converted to manual.
Has build plaque, genuine Sytner built car
28 stamps, 173k
The paint is extremely good. It's had an excellent respray which included many new parts and all badges, receipts for lots of new trim etc.
I had the floors/sills all repaired and tidied, sunroof drains re-routed to come out behind the splash-guards and the fuel filler area leaded. I had the cam cover and mani painted black too.
Car pulls well, sub 7 secs to 60mph.
The engine has around 8k on it. It had a new cam and followers, timing chain, and steering box @138k and a new block and pistons in 2003 at 165k. Compression is 160-170 across all cylinders which is a good 10-20psi higher than most 535i's.
I have just had a full Fritz system including manifolds fitted which cost around £1800
The fuel lines and fuel tank vent pipes have been done so no worries there.
Still on correct springs I believe but not sure on shocks, handles well but plans were for the B12 kit. I have installed Powerflex subframe and arb bushes, new droplinks and pitman arms.
Wheels and tyres are in good condition, couple of small marks but still entirely presentable. Original locks have gone, replaced with bolts. Tyres have plenty of tread.
Interior is in lovely condition and retains the Alpina clocks and s/wheel. Electric seats (fully functioning).
A/C does not work and fan can squeak at times. Diff speedo sensor wire could do with replacing as the needle can bounce about a bit sometimes.
The diff (LSD) is showing signs of a small weep but works brilliantly
Check control mileage display intermittent/dim
11 months M.O.T, no advisories.
Dry stored.
£6000

I'd consider an E39 B10 or M5 in a deal but try me
