I actually like that, sure, the headlamps look a little awkward but to me it's a nice mix of old style made with new. Again, the wheels are a bit matchbox, that's however, to be expected it seems from everything out of the states and anywhere else at the moment.

He designed this car when he was back in Art Centre so that explains the 90's influence of the shape, and as stated by jiminwatford he was boyd's guy for years......in fairness you need to read the whole story to appreciate just what you're looking at. I love this thing for the very fact that its one of those characature drawings that has come to life. I need to start saving my $300,000 though

Fantastic attention to detail ugly from the back though This has been my wallpaper for the last couple of months. too much chrome (IMHO) but I'd like these brakes on my Bini....

doesnt he have anything better to do with his time. Making lots of money and getting magazine covers? I can think of worse ways of spending my life. Like my life for example. I don't like his "designer modified" E-Body cars either TBH. Sometimes I wonder if theres a case that the more money the customer has, the less taste they have? C15dude, tara green, thats on the MG ZR and such? I wondered what that colour was... I might just paint somethign big that colour...

I love some details of this - the susp through the grill but I hate the grille... I LIKE it from the back... Overall it's a bit American-Business-man-midlife-crisis . . . Colour is nice - don't like the 'cuda stripe tho...

C15dude, tara green, thats on the MG ZR and such? I wondered what that colour was... I might just paint somethign big that colour... I think it is... I picked up a rattle can in hellfrauds for me toolbox, thats where i'm making the connection. the rover colour has less black and more mettalic in it, although hemisfear might be done with a black/dark base colour. I still like bits of it. think it would work better on a zipper type body or even just a '33 roadster base with that roof. boyd built a rear motored rod (cadstar?) which had more normal rear proportions,so it wasn't out of the question to make it look less cheesy-wedge shaped. front wheels need to be 2" smaller too, but it ain't mine and the person who pays like 200k for it won't care what i think.

I like the roof (almost like a Calibra roof first thing that I thought... I keep sporadically thinking about what classic would 'take' a calibra roof... I reckon a zephyr sled...possibly...? *n
