there are quite a few aero tweaks you can do to help the car, have a look on some of the bonneville salt flat forums. A deep front spoiler, undertray and roof spoiler that extends the roof length would help. Also trying to get the air out of the bonnet like NigePs mk2 golf would help That inside out bonnet scoop? The air goes through the front and is pulled out of that? Having the inlet to the throttle body from the intercooler like this means I would have no drivers side headlight So got one from an s3 for £20 which is on the other side I need to wedge a fan between the engine and radiator.....it'll be tight Finished the exhaust down pipe from the turbo, ran out of welding gas so improvised Helper dog was helping again :-) Almost finished the intercooler plumbing and I've also ordered a whole load of bits to give the engine a massive service/rebuild

The engine is rebuilt! Next few jobs are fit an LSD and higher ratio 5th gear in the gearbox, finish the dashboard, convert the 205 to use a hydraulic clutch & paint the engine bay :-)

More progress on the dashboard :-) not sure wether to get a paint match from the plastic and have it brown or just use another colour..
