I've not bought the combine but I have done a bit more on the tractor The quadrant levers for the 3 point linkage was just a snapped Spring pin and rusted solid I put some heat through it to free it up, it was at this point I found out one of the levers was soldered together and fell apart I took it all apart after more heat and cleaned them all up I welded the soldered lever back on and started to put it back together It was rusty and bent out of shape so I put a little nut and bolt to pull it back together and gave it a coat of hammerite Bolted it back in place And replaced all the clips and greased up Fired straight up after sitting for weeks and up it went on the levers I also drilled out the foot throttle pin Waiting on the new pin The next thing to tackle in the cab is the diff lock foot lever Lol

No. Just rear tyre pressure and Spring frame under the seat. You could get a nice vintage tractor and pull that lovely caravan to shows with it

Make a great viewing platform from on top too - excellent at race days, airshows, etc. and you could park it where you like as who could stop you?! And depending on how big the grain tank is inside it, you could customise that into a small living area - mattress on top of storage, 12v fridge, single gas ring, and a ladder out to the top.

Seat was er....... Getting ready for a new one But I wanted to keep the base as it has a spring and damper in it. The complete unit and seat are hundreds and some one was throwing out an old (not cab) digger seat as it had some small tears that held water after it had rained. I have a cab (just) on my tractor so it would be fine. I removed the runners are they were stuck, rusty and useless. Drilled some new holes and a coat of paint Then I I wanted a foot pedal again, the pin are £18 and the pedal was £40. So I made one I guessed the angle of the notch and was a bit out so it stands too high really but works for now . The diff lock pedal wasn't was rotten as I thought so I wire brushed it and fitted it. Do you think I might be a bit late with the wax oil? Haha I kept hearing a buzzing and vibrating noise and investigation I found a bumble bee nest in the roof. I took the cover for a closer look, I was drilling and hammering and they didn't try to sting me, so they can stay This is the sort of rust we are dealing with. It's nearly all sorted other then the cab rot. I'm gonna leave it and try and get a complete cab.

Loving reading this, my father in law restores Oliver and Cockshutt tractors, interesting how they weather compared to cars and trucks that I work on. Looks a nice piece for your use!

I would like a climate that didn't rot everything, but I imagine years a cow muck hasn't helped here Been using it a bit to move some hay and a Fallen tree I've also bought this 10 tonne tipper trailer, it's too heavy really, I was gonna cut the sides down, but it's is handy to have it high. I just won't fill it ......... Need to weld a new floor in it and maybe paint it

I just won't fill it ......... Need to weld a new floor in it and maybe paint it NOOOOO, no paint please. That's 100% genuine patina and certainly the sort that doesn't come in a can. Keep it as it is and with my shonky horse box we could start a RR Rat Trailer section

Next time am at the fields i'll take a picture of the cattle trailer, its not moved for nearly 20 years (it was a shed when we bought it) and has a tree growing through the A frame haha
