www.flickr.com/photos/rkmphoto/sets/72157600329649438/If anyone wants to find more photos on line please do... Thius is the latest Troy Trepanier Biscayne called "Hurricayne". Big block and approaching 700BHP. Sweet. Interior detail is lovely Wheels might just be a bit on the big side for my tastes but its a sweet mutha and I wouldn't kick it out of bed for that. Yah.

I've just looked on the Popular Hot Rodding website because it's apparently in the latest issue - but the site isn't updated. We'll have to wait a bit, I guess. I think these are the build up pictures though: www.radrides.com/66two.html

they don't put current features on the site to protect sales. I have the mag. It looks awesome.

they don't put current features on the site to protect sales. Very sensible. US mags are so boring though aren't they...how do they managed to write features that don't tell you anything so well?

dunno which ones you're reading but I do enjoy most of the ones I read. Some of the stuff gets a little samey or irrelevant. I never managed to muster up the enthusiasm to read "12 best steering rack conversins for 1st Gen Camaro" in Hot Rod an issue or so back. Especially since one of the othermags had done the A-Z of rack conversion about 2 months previously... Either that or they have to come up with some reall oddball way of doing something. new smallblock Chevy buildup featuring 307 block!
Even I got tired of the relentless Enginemasters coverage. As did others. So much so it gets its own magazine now.
Some of the street rod titles seem to be devoid of character. Aimed at an older audience though.

I'm actually not taken by it at all, which... I'm a little worried about because normally I like this kind of thing, a lot.

My first thought was that that's the coolest Vauxhall Victor ever. Brown is the new black.....again.

HTW will be ever so happy! an expensive showcar that people like... dare I say it... including me! I don't care how much it cost... as long as its judged on the finished car alone, regardless of weather it cost £50 of £500,000. Tremor63 is spot on, you could achieve something similar with a Victor...

I like it because its not showy. I'd also loose the logo off the side. I love that year and model of car and I love its not an Impala and I love the fact they have done so much which is just so subtle.
I think if anyone else tried it they'd have produced something "meh" but Trepanier seems to really have the gift for getting this look right.
Yup, do it with a Cortina, Victor, Hunter...
Only issue you have is often trying to get the right look with Euro/Brit cars is that the proportions aren;t quite the same as big yank tanks so it doesn't look quite the same.

i really like that, under stated but really well executed. i think the wheels are just about the right size, not too big but in proportion to the car.
