Another something I bought whilst hugely excited and thought "MY GOD, I COULD HAVE A MINI JAPANESE EL CAMINO!!!!"
The reality is that my RX7 is still in pieces, my beetle is still in pieces, my datsun 510 needs repairs and I'm not going to get round to it.
This is the look I was going for... AND the actual car in question!!!
(I have done some minor editing in the form of ride height and trim removal in this picture)
The car itself is a 1 owner from new farm utility vehicle. It does have some holes in the tin but nothing detrimental and that can't be buzzed up over a weekend. it does need a front wing however these frequent eBay for £20 (buy it now price).
It includes some spare lights, a bull bar (still fitted), am aluminium box roof (removed), tonnau cover for the load bed.
It starts effortlessly and drives very well. The 1800cc boxer engine ticks all the boxes and is remarkably clean.
Original handbooks, folder, toolkit are all present. It has pillarless doors and a cool red hologram thingy next to the speedo which looks dope at night time!
All in all a very cool, practical utility vehicle that which some TLC would be an awesome retro daily full of class.
