I go past a couple of these quite often at a local dealers and always wondered what they were as they have quite a presence in the flesh. I will be interested to see what you make of yours.

Cheers all, humbling comments. I'm not sure if I'm looking at newer nv200s on the net but their lights seem to be curvy on the edge?!

I cant find a pic of the ones i mean either, Seems like the minibus ones don't have the side bit. or at least some don't. One i test drove last year when i was looking for a window van didnt have the sides, Were flat like yours.

Not much in the way of progress but a few shots from this week... First of all it's the start of the ice cream van sticker window with an ice cream sticker left over from my cube bonnet underside and a status error ice cream girl sticker. (each with a 400 YEN price label) And because I couldn't resist, a photo of the pearl white paint under the street light And whilst loading the wheels in the car/bus/van to take to be painted I thought I'd lean one against the current wheel for a rough idea - Seats flipped up onto the side and van mode activated - A quick shot of the Elgrand next to a Type 25 in the work car park - it doesn't look quite so big parked next to another van. - And lastly a shot of my choro Qs again with the Elgrand model in - No photos yet but found the colour changing switch for the optional extra mood lighting last night.

Those wheels are going to look great. I wonder what colour they're going.
Does that front number plate bug you? It bugs me, getting in the way of the lower grille like that.

Yep sure am grizz Thanks vulgalour, I see what you mean about plate but there is a raised base that it mounts to so I can't relocate it and i don' want the hassle or smoothing that only to mount the plate somewhere else. A shorter private reg might be a future idea so I can get it on a single height plate.

Bit of an update today. First up I had a thatcham 2 immobiliser fitted at the demands of insurance. Already had a factory alarm and immobiliser fitted but not on their list. Extra peace of mind I guess. And also had a preview (pre-lacquer) photo from The JDM Guys who are painting my wheels .... Oh and the tyres arrived yesterday but not got a photo of those.

Cheers for that link @dawson right up my street There's one very similar to yours that I randomly saw parked in town the other day. I tried to get a snap because thought you'd like it but didn't get my phone out in time Pretty sure it was the same model as yours but was just in white no fancy pearl job. There's also a mystery modified van/people carrier idk what to call these cars but it is in black (could be toyota) and has a complete bodykit on it and some shiny wheels, I always pass it on the way to work so will try get a snap!

Yeah try and get photos of those.
I'm not sure if they did a non pearl white so it probably just wasn't showing up in the light.

And today some proper mods... First up lowering courtesy of a set of adjustable VM-1 BC Racing Coilovers fitted by a local garage in Lichfield, PJS Autos on Crossfield Industrial Estate, the manager is a fellow slambox member so I trust my cars with them. Another bonus is it's right next to the train station which is ideal for getting there after work when I pick the car up. Any way photos... Front strut conparison, diameter and weight difference is unbelievable! In bits.... The heights haven't been adjusted yet but I'll do that once the new wheels are on - should have lots of room to play with though as I'm keeping them tucked rather than flush this time around so it's just steering space on the front that will hold me back. Any way the teaser shots that the garage sent me while waiting for my train - Meanwhile I get these update shots from The JDM Guys who are spraying my wheels ... And then when I'd picked the bus up I took a quick couple of shots myself ... It's at about 50mm drop at the moment so will see where I can take it once the wheels are on.
