How did you get on with the new mot centre? Not to bad failed on all 4 springs not seating as they can be twisted out of place mot guy told me how to sort it That doesn't sound like a fail to me - something that could happen, a tyre could go bald - Is that a fail? The correct test procedure for springs is that if they dislocate when the car is jacked up with the wheels hanging is to check whether the springs locate correctly without any assistance when the car is lowered back onto its wheels. If they need assistance- they fail, if not - they pass.

If they need assistance- they fail, if not - they pass. So what you are saying is that if it doesn't seat properly and the spring could fall out if will fail? That's what it failed on and it has now been sorted by the o/p.
