1968 Baracuda Notchback, and 1968 Dodge Dart GT Ragtop. The Baracuda was in quite good condition, was well optioned and I paid a piddling amount for it. I traded it for an engine for the Dart. I later sold the engine and it never went into the Dart. Unfortunately the guy that bought the Cuda just broke it.
I later sold the Dart when I was a starving student.
Oh well, live and learn.

I don't regret any of mine. When I came to sell them the ownership had run its course and I was bored of them

A 1968 Escort. We bought it for £400 from a guy in his eighties who'd had it from new. Just over 20,000 on the clock at the time we got it and immaculate apart from perished hoses and tyres(crossplies!). Unfortunately it got pressed into service as a daily and other drivers just regarded it as an old car and it collected a rash of parking bumps. It got nicked and recovered twice, despite the alarm/immobiliser and both thieves were caught. One of 'em nicked it cos it was raining and he'd only got a T shirt on He then parked it outside his house and the neighbours called the cops. The court awarded us £25 in damages- which we got . Sold it on to someone better able to take care of it but it got written off Have no pics sadly.

My 2.8 Special Capri... Although it was accident damaged (don't ask) I should have kept it and reshelled it. Now Capri's are making a mint and I want one badly.

This: Awesome little car - my first car on the road. I sold it because I wanted to buy a Mk1 I'd seen. The seller screwed me over and sold it to someone else after promising it to me. Oh well, you live and learn.

Hindsight can be wonderful....... I should have kept my first car, a 71 Hillman Hunter GT, which cost me a whole £250 back in 82. I ended up selling it for £99 a couple of years later, to someone at work, and buying a (compared to the Hillman ) space age and modern Saab 99 for £275. Those were the days. ;D Alistair, I am seriously loving that Victor, that is one seriously cool machine.

I miss that Victor regularly. Too much of my time, money and love went into it.
