I am selling this beautiful 1989 Mercedes W124 260E Saloon. The car is a bit of a timewarp, it is exactly as it left the dealer in '89 and is a testament to it's 3 previous owners. The car has covered just 55k miles from new, and comes with a full Mercedes-Benz dealer service history from new, including every tax disk and a chunky pile of recipts and old MOT's to back this up. The MOT is due on October 28th 2015. Security is covered by a Clifford alarm and immobiliser, which also acts as central locking. Both keys come with a fob each to operate this.
Bodywork:
As you would expect from the mileage the bodywork is in great condition, with non of the rusty arches that commonly plague this period of Merc. It even still has its original dealer fitted plates, mudflaps and rear window sticker! The front and rear headlights work perfectly, even the wipers.
Interior:
Like the exterior the inside is completely original, with even the Blaukpunkt radio/cassette still in place. The velour seats are in fantastic condition with both front and rear armrests present. The air con blows nice and cool, with all 4 electric windows working. It still has its genuine Mercedes floor mats and options folding rear headrests. When the suns out it has the rare option of a fully sliding factory fitted sunroof.
Wheels and Tyres:
The car is fitted with 15" OEM Hub Caps with almost brand new all season tyres.
Drivetrain:
Being the 2.6 6 cylinder, it runs very smooth and syncs perfectly with the auto gearbox. The car has had regular oil, filter and coolant changes. It hasn't been jetwashed so there is nothing to hide, it's just a honest engine. There are no knocks or clunks from the suspension, the car rides perfectltly and is fantastically comfortable as you would expect.

I'm asking £2495 for the car, which I feel is a fair price, you will struggle to find another like this. It is located in Dundee, Scotland.
