For sale is my black phase 1.5 1989 peugeot 205 gti. It has a mi16 engine conversion(becoming quite rare these days). Its the sunroof model with electric windows and central locking. Comes with loads of receipts of work carried out by me and previous owners.

Mi16 engine conversion from citroen bx gti roughly 80k

Shortened inlet manifold
Gearbox
Just had reconditioned 1.6 BE1 short ratio gearbox fitted with new clutch and flywheel
Suspension
Bilstein shocks all round
Lowered around 50mm on lowering springs
Rear beam lowered to match
Brakes
Standard 1.9 brakes, disks and pads re-newed around april last year along with track rod ends. Drums on rear.
Interior
light weight lotus elise bucket seats (drivers side fitted to OMP seat mount, passenger side custom mounted)
Half carpet in front
No door cards or rear seats
Push button start
Fuel cut off switch
Rear strut bar / harness mount
Electric windows
Suede steering wheel (not shown in pics)
Exterior
1.9 gti wheels in silver
Bumpers repainted satin black, red inserts painted silver to match wheels
toyo proxy t1rs all round with a good amount of tread
Phase 1 rear lights
Phase 2 clear side lights
Car doesn't use any oil or water and holds good oil pressure. Very fast and light little car around 160 bhp. The car could be doing with a new bonnet as the previous owner(s) cut a hole in this one to aid cold airflow into the throttle body; it isn't the best looking cosmetically. During my ownership I have replaced the starter motor the alternator and just recently had a new gearbox clutch and flywheel installed. There's also a slight knock over certain bumps coming from the left side suspension top mount, just needs replacing.
