I must admit surprisingskoda , I do quite fancy that Forester. It belongs to an old fella who lives on the street, I think he's had it from new, as I remember he bought it to replace his Austin Princess when that finally gave up. My feeling is that he won't be selling that Subaru any time soon! I've looked at a few though, they seem to fall into two catagories, rough as nuts and a bit pricey, or good and really expensive! But like I said, I quite fancy one. Anyway, the search for Mrs Pistonpoppers car goes on, and it's going to become a bit of an issue if I don't sort it out soon! Ten photos!

Sorry to sound un-educated but I want the "Green Machine" in the middle of the Trans-Am and Mustang. it's one of those line-up where you'd struggle to not to look out of the window at most of the day! Trans-am,baracuda,mustang Celeste... (Celeste or the baraccuda for me!) damn not a bad part of your fleet there PP! Interesting update 're the trans-am, mhey that's to successful sales without aggro! (Not counting the CRV!) Gotta be a record run 😀 and two spaces on your fleet to rrplace...?

Why does Mrs P not take the practical Mustang? Well, the reason for that is that it ran out of MOT in August... 2017! I just haven't gotten around to sorting that out. I've been a bit run off my feet lately. I never meant for it to be off the road for any length of time, let alone for over a year. But having a car collection can do that, you always seem to end up taking the car thats nearest the house! I must rectifiy this as to be honest, I miss driving the thing! Sorry to sound un-educated but I want the "Green Machine" in the middle of the Trans-Am and Mustang. don't feel un-educated, but as s1105117 pointed out, its a Plymouth Barracuda... Episode 50. Plymouth Barracuda. 41-2721. (Part 1).Episode 79. Plymouth Barracuda. 41-2721. (Part 2).Interesting update 're the trans-am, mhey that's to successful sales without aggro! (Not counting the CRV!) Gotta be a record run 😀 and two spaces on your fleet to rrplace...? Yeah, I'm finding that selling outside of ebay is easier. People keep telling me that farcebook is a good place to sell these days, but I've not been too involved with farcebook lately. I'm sort of taking a break from it. In other news... Good news, Mrs Pistonpoppers got a new car! Although, she's been away all weekend, so she doesn't know it yet! I'm not 100% how it's going to go as it's not a 4x4 of any description, and worse still it's a model that she told me adamantly that she didn't want in any variation! So, when she gets home later, if it's still light, and she's feeling up to a drive, I shall take her out in it... Wish me luck! In the plus column if she doesn't like it I actually do like it, and better yet I've bought something else too so she's even got a choice! Although, I'd be surprised if she wouldn't rather walk than drive the second option! Goodness knows why I bought it really, but I was curious! So thats the two spaces on my fleet already rrplaced s1105117 ... That was not my plan for the weekend! Lastly... The Hot Rod. Now I know I promised you that there would be updates about it in the Autumn, and looking out my window as I type this it does look quite autumnal, so why has there been no updates? Well I've had a problem with technology to put it bluntly. I wrote a book about the build of the hot rod, and I was fairly sure I knew where I'd put it, but it would appear that I don't. My eldest Pistonpoppet thinks I lent it to her primary school when she still went there, as they were doing a project on transport possibly eight years ago or so. I vaguely remember lending it to them, but I can't remember if I got it back, eight years is a long time. But I guess thats not a massive problem as I was going to pretty much re-write it anyway. The big problem is that when I built it, I was transitioning from a camera that used film, to the new technology (at the time) that was digital so quite a few of the photos were taken on my new digital camera, but some where done on 35mm film using a Canon A1, and an Olympus μ (mju) the film pictures I still have. The digital pictures, and the originally scanned 35mm pictures were put onto CD for safe keeping. However for some reason the CD's that I saved all the images on well over a decade ago now don't seem to work. Apparently, according to my Brother the CD has become corrupted, I've no idea why. So I have various friends, and my Brother trying to somehow get the photos off the CD's, and they've managed to get a few off, but not a lot. While they are doing this I am going through all my negatives scanning any photos of the hot rod that I come across, this is taking me a long time, but I'm getting there. I have also asked all my friends if they have any photos of the hot rod, as a lot of them took photos during the build at the time. Some have already been passed on to me, and when I do eventually get all the photos scanned et cetera, they will all get used to write the story. I am also re-scanning some of the original sketches I did when I was building it, as I thought I'd include them too. Sorry to disappoint you guys that were waiting for it. It will happen, but just not as soon as I hoped.

I'm sort of taking a break from it. Facebook isn't too bad for selling things, problem there is it's only one click on an icon to send an inquiry so you get inundated with requests from people who aren't really interested. Still appears the best I've used at the mo, esp as ebay is trash atm. On another note, i apologise for my sloppy typing! D- for typos! Great update as always, interested about the purchases now! I'm even awaiting the hot rod post, and I'm not a great fan 🤫 of hot rods! Keep it up mate, quality blog/thread

Keep it up mate, quality blog/thread No need to apologise for sloppy typing, mine is abysmal most of the time, and I have to re-read through what I write loads of times before I release it to you guys. Even then when I go back and re-read it I'll always find something I miss. Glad you still enjoy it despite my poor typing skills, spelling, and grammatical errors. Just seven photos in this one... So without further ado, Mrs Pistonploppers new car! Episode 109. Ford Focus CC. EY07 HSG. (Part 1). At 11 years old is this too new for here?

Awesome instalment as per usual! Really like this model focus CC - pininfarina if i'm correct? One bit of criticism, swap the wheels back! Yes they probably double the value and appeal of the Cmax but they suit the focus CC so well! I know it has probably been sold on by now but if she gets bored of the CC, Stick a 2.5 turbo in it

OMG! Just how tolerant can a woman be! When I read I already made some noise breathing air in through my bitten teeth (can´t describe it better). But when I saw that pic of her removed parts I was sure, you will be dead very very soon! So expect to wake up one morning with your best parts wrapped in duct tape in the near future! And I think you deserve it!

mate, how do you do it?! haha awesome! My partner says that you must be bloody good in bed, otherwise surely you would be under the patio! I can't really recall seeing a focus CC, personally I disliekd that style of car like the megane or the peugeut, but that actually has quite good lines i think, get a sneaky b roaad drive in it be interesting to see how it goes :-)

My partner says that you must be bloody good in bed, otherwise surely you would be under the patio! Well, yes, but I had to put a lot of time and effort into it. This book made a lot of difference, I read it carefully, made notes, and carried out practical experiments. But wait, this isn't Pistonpoppers Guide To Making Your Woman Scream Like A Banshee!! Thats on another forum! Although, if thats what you want to do, and are too cheap to buy the book and learn, then just get some high quality duct tape, and put it across her eyebrows, then, just rip it and the eyebrows off in one quick swipe! She pretty much made the same noises, and if anything the duct tape method was possibly louder! OMG! Just how tolerant can a woman be! Well, to be fair we've been together a really long time, and I've known her even longer. Add to that I never did that thing that people do when they get together with someone new, y'know, when they act like someone they're not. So she knew the level of my idiotness before we even got together in the first place. Although, I'll bet that not even in her wildest dreams did she think I could get worse! So expect to wake up one morning with your best parts wrapped in duct tape in the near future! Aww, I dunno. I wish you hadn't written that! If she reads it she might get ideas... Might be best to hide that duct tape now! Awesome instalment as per usual! Really like this model focus CC - pininfarina if i'm correct? One bit of criticism, swap the wheels back! Thanks riggs. You're right, Pinninfarina indeed. It's a nice looking car, even with the roof up. I pretty much like all of these little convertible coupés, and at some point I'd like to explore a few more... Stay tooned! As for swapping the wheels back. Well, I must agree that they probably do look better than the C-max wheels, but the tyres are pretty bald, and the wheels themselves have been rubbed against the kerbs quite brutally in places, and theres a fair amount of lacquer peel. Add to that that I'm not a particular fan of the style and I think they're better off on the C-max, so I'm sticking with the 15's for now. They're not the wheels I want to keep on it, but when I find the right ones, I'll pop them on, and I think they will probably be 17" or 18" so will probably look a lot better.

I mean.. not really, I was just pointing out something that was going wrong in case it could be fixed. I only see 9 in that one. /shrug Also, "There's a lady who lives down the road who delivers for my Herpes, she has one" I don't know if this was an autocorrect, but I think it should stay.
