Looking for a recovery truck, happy to travel but I don't really want to spend more than £1000. Might spend more if it has equipment but I'll be stretching my budget. I'm expecting at this price for it to be rough round the edges but as long as I can drive it home initially, I'm happy.
PM or reply on here, I expect I'll be looking for a few months.

youd be surprised, ive had 3 all for under a grand, and they've all drove home. they're gonna need work for sub a grand unless you get lucky, but if you go down the transit route, along as you can weld, all the parts are there for them to sort out.
depending on what facility's youve got, id be looking at getting a clean chassis cab, then either making a body or buying a 2nd hand one. but yea, its only any use if youve got space and help!

^ This. I've seen them come up for under a grand but they're few and far between. Nobody seems to want to get rid of them because they're profitable vehicles. Yeah, I'm eyeing up a few chassis cabs, I just would rather not deal with the hassle.

This on oval chat, nothing to do with me.
For sale: transit 2.5 banana engine recovery will have 12 months mot, it's got a 13 ft bed good winch if a little slow at times but that's usually when pulling up a wrecked jag. The cab has got a few bubbles coming through on the arches and a whole on the inner arch and could do with a respray and new arches if you want it looking mint, however it's only been use for bangers, scrap and the odd recovery so never really bothered me too much. It's had the usual rust on the chassis but it's been plated and under sealed last mot it's also had 2 new rear shocks, wheel bearings and a prop centre bearing on it since I've owned it and a Cambelt just over a year ago, it's a good little truck that has never let me down and I've been all over with it its a fair price at £1500 07557129109 2015-01-20 19.01.24.jpg
