I`ll be honest, I don`t know too much about the Nissan Micra, but when this became available I had to buy it. It`s done a genuine 13,900 miles from new and comes with service invoices etc from 2000 onwards to warrant the miles. Even without the paperwork, you can tell by just looking at and sitting in this car that it is genuine. Literally, NO rust anywhere at all. I`ve had a quick look underneath too, and that is just as clean, and appears to be free from any previous welding. I`ll take a closer look at this and try to confirm over the weekend. It has an MOT until May, and it went through with no advisory notes at all. It`s done around 100 miles since the last test, so will go straight through another. I`m happy to do this for the buyer as long as you pay for the test fee.
The engine is so sweet, and ticks over like a sewing machine. It`s started first turn of the key everytime I`ve started it, including in these minus temperatures we`ve had recently. The drive is fantastic, and it does everything it should do without any issues. The interior is almost as new. No wear to the seats, instruments or dashboard with just a smalll area of carpet coming slightly loose on the edge; about 4 inches long. This is easily fixed with glue. The heater is brilliant, and all electrics work as they should, including the heated rear screen. It still has the original stereo too.
The tyres are all matching Dunlops, which could even be original. The spare is unused, as is the tool kit. It still wears the original dealer plates. Although it`s a non PAS vehicle, the steering is very light, and not heavy like some.
The photos genuinely don`t do the car justice and it needs to be viewed. Being uber critical, it has a slight ding right at the bottom of the O/S wing, where it meets the door which has been repaired in the past, and a very slight scuff to a bumper corner, which can only be seen when right up close. That`s it. I`ll get pictures of these over the weekend too, and add them to the thread.
It would be such a shame to mess with this IMHO. It needs to remain as it is including the suspension, wheels and exhaust. Obviously, that decision is down to the buyer, but I would much rather it went to someone who will leave it be.
I don`t think there`s anything I`ve missed out. Let me know if I have or if you want better pictures of specific areas at all. For the time being, these rushed pictures will have to do
