Now as y'all might rememeber theres a chap in my village runs a c.1930 Rolls Royce as a seemingly daily driver, now this gets my ree-spek
The car is very much like this one
All "HRH King George" vibe and all that.
Anyways, my reee-spktorz kwota for the chap has now gone up by like 10000% as I saw the thing again this weekend. And I'm thinking maybe he's looking for a scene for the thing so he too can be cool, because yeah, its got a roof rack.
And yeah, it has stuff on the roof rack., In fact a dining room table strapped to it upside down. And then I nosed in the back. Big LWB saloon like that seems silly not to use it as a works van, really, doesn't it?
Back of the car was full of tools and bags of cement and "Student house to let" signs and the like.
Theres something about using a 80 year old Rolls Royce as a daily hack and chucking all the DIY junk into it that just noses so far off the "keepin it real" scale that it freezez solid in the ourter atmosphere and only thaws out on a sharp angle of re-entry before being recovered from the spalsh down zone by a clone of Raquel Welsh who was cryogenically fozen in like 1969 wearing nothing but a smile and a space-age silver foil bikini.
