Hi all. Fancy a change so D21 up for sale. part ex/Swaps for 2wd pickup or Subaru Brat, estates or maybe something completely different. Preff Japanese but would consider old rwd vauxhalls and old rwd fords too. the truck itself is a Japanese import, 1991. recent MOT which it sailed through again. mega reliable 2.7 diesel engine, which are pretty common, was used in the old london black cabs. turbo version available and again pretty common and a simple swap if you wanted to. I've added a few bits such as lecy windows and fitted heated seat elements to the D22 seats that i fitted. all works well and well maintained, new front discs and overhauled brakes, new rear drums, new cylinders, new shoes and new shoe fitting kit used. Both fuel filters replaced with genuine Nissan items. spent most of its life on a livery so only had light duty, body and chassis in great shape for it's age with only a few small dents and scratches. rear load liner fitted. Spec will depend on negotiation with whatever you have to swap. more info here datsunclubuk.proboards.com/thread/2044/1990-d21-crew-cab[/img]

yeah think it'd be massive work to get this anywhere near to being low enough. 2wd would be a better starting point.
some stuff i'd be interested in would be Honda civic, Mitsubishi colt or lancer wagon, Nissan s13 200sx or sunny/almera, subaru brat, Ford cortina or Vauxhall victor estates, Vauxhall HB/HC's and obviously anything old and Nissan/Datsun...

The only old commercial vehicles that'd be London LEZ compliant would be petrol ones.

Obviously! I'm pretty sure anyone who lives there or goes into London often will be fully aware... Why are you asking?

Just taken a few more pics. Currently has no back seat fitted as i have a big ass sub in there instead, but just a case of swapping it back over, no dramas... Few things I forgot to mention, no carpet fitted, just rubber mats, as the old carpet was manky due to the trucks previous life on a livery. also missing one rear door card. can't remember why i removed it or trowing it away? maybe in my garage somewhere... Also a few pics of the underside. It's pretty dam impressive really for an old truck and testament to the easy life it's had. I jet washed it all off under there last summer and after a few weeks driving it around to dry out I air lined off any dust and sprayed it all up in body shutz. So now very easy to keep clean and should last a long time. Only rust this truck had was in the bed sides. I'm guessing this was due to having rubber glued to it. I removed all the rubber and knocked out all the rust and treated it wit h the bilt hamber stuff www.bilthamber.com/corrosion-treatments/hydrate-80 then filled and painted the rear bed sides, being carefull to mask off the go faster decals... not a perfect job but certainly looks good enough. Then I've fitted a plastic load liner which can be removed, but does a good job of keeping the bed clean and protected. Oh and I used epoxy primer too so it's pretty well protected!

If you're after close up pics of the paintwork this isn't the truck for you. It's got plenty of minor dents and chips and is far from a show room car.
