Excellent. How much did you pay for it in the end? PM me if you don't wanna go public hehe. Did you ever ask the guy how much he wanted for the FSO? The reserve is £850 but gonna see what the bidding gets to. Matt the guy with the fso told me 850 too, but he either doesnt know what hes selling or cant be assed to describe it cos i asked him a few questions and he couldnt/wouldnt answer them other than to say it had borbets on- i can see that from the pics!! id be wary of buying form him with his previous feedback too. |

plans for the pink pickup? make it not pink  got a few other ideas, not sure yet though tbh, gunna sort the brakes, autobox, and anything else it needs for the mot and get it on the road first. |

ford essex v6 out of a scimitar, with an autobox. i deffo want it to be a manual though, so ile either bung a cheap manaul box on the v6, or swop the lot.

Apprantley its a real FSO pickup, he says the bodywork is sound, has discs all round, leaf spring rear, coils on the front.
Sounds pretty good and reckon it could be made a lot better.

yep, the did make pickups, i did a bit of digging on it on the next but its all in polish so i basically jsut looked at pics! the fiat motor will deffo make it interesting, and it sits nice too, all it appears to really need is cosmetic stuff like a colour change. providing hes not telling fibs about it, have you checked his feedback?  |

Yeh I saw his feedback, hopefully he'll be truthful as i've said i'm comin 200 miles to get it if I buy it so don't wanna be dissapointed.

The door doesnt shut properly on the drivers side. I thought it wasnt fully closed but its the same on the pics with the roof off. My pal has looked at the pics and says it looks like the offending door has been trowelled with pud. (hes an auto painter by trade) He admits its hard to be 100% sure as the piccies may not tell the whole truth but theres deffo an issue with that door judging by the pics.

If you look at the rear view with the bed cover open it appears closed. I can't imagine anybody clagging a door out as much as it would be to make it appear open like that.

Just don't trust all that people say on there. Ive been looking at his feedback and its not as good as it could be and alarm bells rang. Good looking truck though.
