Thanks! Here's a little four pic update; I need a nap. I've been out there since 6AM today. Still not polished out, no brightwork or emblems and the lights aren't wired yet. But it is starting to look like something...

Well thank you all very much! It's no show car, but it's not half bad. (haha- it's only about half good)
Another few days and I'll be making videos. I still have the emergency brake cable system to build and install, none of the lights are connected yet, the passenger seat, the seat belts..
There's still a bunch of stuff.

The plan was to drive it tonight.
It's pouring rain. It's almost done, it is quite stunning.
It's not getting driven tonight. I'm not finished and it's crazy raining.
After work tomorrow then...

You can't buy happiness but you can buy cars and that's kind of the same thing.

Thanks guys, this has been a mahoosive effort. Lots of little things yet to do, like all the lights and a handbrake system but yeah- I'm actually hoping it brings good money when I do sell it. I'm still planning on putting in a nitrous bottle... I haven't gotten to play with it just yet.

Might be worth giving the bringatrailer.com auctions a whirl...definitely a more targeted audience than ebay, and for a result like you've arrived at, it deserves it. Two thumbs way up, you're about to convince me to dive into painting...

Two thumbs way up, you're about to convince me to dive into painting... Wow, that's a great idea. I will do that when I'm ready and all the little bugs are worked out. Thanks and I definitely recommend painting a car in your garage. for total perfection, expect weeks of sanding. We did this in a few days. There's spots I said "screw it" and you can see those if you look at it in person. But for this build, it's cool.

Looks cool!
Don't suppose you have or know of any in the states, a set of front fog lights, but the later ones, mounted in the front bumpers not outside of them?
Literally the only thing I'm waiting on for my 222!
I like the centre mounted exhaust too!

No, sorry. I only know of a few of these cars in the states and they're not the 222's so they have the stupid square ones that hang down from the bumper cover. I prefer the front ends of the Shamal or Ghibli but hey- mine looks alright after many hours of work. It's all cool, good luck!

I thought that would be the case.
I think I'm going to have to come up with some kind of insertable blank to fill the holes until I miraculously find a replacement set then...
What kind of power will you be putting down with this engine swap?
