well, this is my second thread at RR, the first was about my 1977 Opel Rekord Coupe (my next big project), but now i'll show you my new daily: a 1993 Ford Sierra 2.0 DOHC.
there are two reasons to buy a dohc Sierra: they are cheap and the engine is the real deal for the daily fun.
i found the car not far from here at a industrialpark in late august. parked outside since about 5 month without any movement. although it might seem very worn out at first sight, but the condition wasn't to bad at all. so it is a good deal at all.
i fixed a lot to bring it back on the road: rebuild the complete brakesystem, welded the broken y-pipe together and installed a new main-silencer, changed the oil, oilfilter, fuelfilter, sparkplugs, the rubbermount of the speedtrain, rebuild the rusted sideskirts and other little areas at the underfloor.
after a short ride, i decide, to spend more money for performance parts. i installed some used yellow koni rebound shockabsorbers, and KAW 75/45 springs, strut bars in front and rear and some small modifications to kickin it sideways. at least, i changed some small details to get a nice look: installed a old 3-spoke RS steeringwheel, fixed the broken rearbumper with a piece of another broken one, some bolts and zipties, modified the stock frontgrille, changed the white indicators with yellow ones and installed a RS (foha) front and rearspoiler.
