Currently this E36 328i Touring Auto! I am enjoying the climate control, autobox and the straight 6 burble! But I do miss dailying my 1986 Saab 900, I think I will run the e36 for a bit longer then start looking for a more retro estate; volvo 240 etc

This, I went down from three cars to one. It's kind of cheating since it's not entirely retro in the engine department. Did 500 miles at the weekend and it didn't miss a beat - as expected.

Having endured almost five years of boredom with a 1.8 Focus 3 door (a stop gap car, which ended up being more than a stop gap) I bought this a couple of months back.... Bargain price, low miles and a nice smooth 2.7 V6. Not retro at all, but the Midget would struggle on a daily jaunt at 70 (honest!) down the main drag to where i work every day (it gets scary over 55mph in the Midget anyway). Air con too, which is a plus since the last car i had with air con was so gutless i had to turn it off to pull of from Traffic lights and suchlike....

1990 Ford EA Falcon S station wagon. Not the white one pictured. My current one is red. The white one is my '91 EAII GL that got written off with 463,000 kms on the clock when I pulled out in front of a grey car without lights in a string of lighted cars on a misty winter evening. I've never owned a new car and I'm not likely to. P.S. My mother reckoned this car had mad cow disease because the number plate started with CJD.

This is mine (when I'm not on my vintage pushbike). It's not very practical, no aircon, rock hard ride, rattles and a pig to keep clean. I love it.

Used to be a beat-up mk2 16v Jetta, but I'm awaiting news on a fueling issue so until then I'm borrowing my dad's '84 Volvo 244 or '98 Chevy Pickup as needed.

This is intriguing, especially when a few dailies ago my car of choice was a '91 944 Turbo running KWv3s amongst other things. Christ I begrudgingly let that go! What has been done to your 968? I do fancy one albeit in Tip form for some strange reason unless I happened to come across a bargainous CS...

It's a Sport (CS with 'leccy windows and tiny rear seats), a rare thing, I've had it a few years. It's standard apart from 2 extra speakers. They're not cheap now but I bought at the right time.

Currently alternating between these two but the MX5 is up for sale as I don't need both.

Currently driving a '68 Karmann Ghia as my daily. Don't ask about previous cars - there have been way too many and I stopped counting at 160!

Still using this 156 V6 mostly. It has a silly Japanese exhaust and it can play both cassettes and up to six compact discs. Here it is pictured on a road which I definitely didn't get it into triple figures on because it was my birthday.

Same daily work motor i've had for 5 odd years, with obligatory washing machine in the back Hospital run car (bowt 3 or 4 times a week as i'm a full time carer) does 60-70 MPG, loves SVO, brilliant handbrake for those tight turns but understeers for fun (not when on hospital trips obv!) due to heavy iron diesel lump under the bonnet.

Hardly a RR but never the less a fantastic car. 2007 Saab 9-5 2.3 Aero running on duel fuel. Best part is the 300bhp and 440 nmf. Super fast super quite and a true sleeper. Cheers Chris

Here's my new daily. 15-20 mpg on short runs eeeeek. Nice enough machine though. Plenty of modern Saab estates on here now.

Driving this (a by-product of being the Editor of Fast Ford for several years). Currently trying to persuade myself to part with it and get a small sensible daily, and something 'fun' to play with...
