been let down again by someone on this, so will offer it on here.
its basically a more or less complete rear disc conversion for the above cars. its a bolt-on fit to mk2/mk3 golf and b3/b4 passat with a change of handbrake cables, also fits mk1 golf, lupo, 6n polo and various others with minor fiddling. it has the added bonus of an upgrade to the finned ally mk4 calipers as well.
its all in 'take off' condition, so is dirty/rusty but all functions 100%, just needs a clean and paint to look nice. calipers have been painted but are about due redoing.
what you get-
pair of stub axles with nuts, washers and grease catchers.
pair of caliper brackets with all bolts. sliders in good nick with unsplit boots.
pair of hose brackets to fit to trailing arm (Rarely included).
pair of mk4 golf calipers with mk2 handbrake mechs, good pads included.
i do have a pair of 4stud discs you can have with it but they're shagged, i was going to bin them to keep postage costs down but ok for mocking up/to get you rolling etc.
what you need-
a new pair of discs (£20) you can get 4 or 5 stud versions.
some flexi hoses.
handbrake cables to suit your application- or you can buy adapters to take up the slack in your drum ones.
£125 delivered
edit- this is the current range of bits i have.
ive got two complete mk2/3 setup with steel calipers, and then ally mk4 calipers to replace them (one set not shown)
1st mk2/3 set-
2nd mk2/3 set-
mk4 calipers-
i have wound back all calipers and they all work fine, all have intact dust boots, all sliders are free and have intact dust boots, all bolts are included.
