I remember once we were doing something in a previous employers and we were just waiting round. and wating and waiting. And someone says to us "why don't you go look on the internet or something while you're waiting" and I said "I've done that", and the boss says "well, do it again" and I said "But I've read it all now" and his face was a picture. "Yeah, about 15% of it is teenage angst poems, 20% conspiracy theories, 10% of it is websites about "suchandsuch SUCKS!" and the rest is porn.
I think he came close to believeing me.
Maybe not.

Nice one for posting it again AK as I didn't bother to look last week.....
That is a simply awesome build. Major superb fabrication. A new car in fact. I suspect that picture 99 is what its all about though. Not much of the original left....

I like to tell people "I've clocked the internet, the end boss is a bar steward!" Some people, actually believe you.

I don't know how I missed it before, but it's the first time I've seen it. On top of that, it's quite possibly the best restoration I have ever seen.
Thanks AK!

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

group B car, no rust proofing, no sound deadening, acid dipped shell, that sort of thing. Old race cars don't normally survive neglect.

Right i get it it was a propper racer before.. I'd still be wary about a regular road car, but that shape is too cool, i must have one.

When I first saw the pics, I was thinking "why didn't they start with a better shell?" ...then it clicked that it's rather special. Unbelievable workmanship. Something I can only dream of doing.

Lol, I think it was only Friday or Saturday when it appeared for teh first time.
Its Juha Kankunnens ex safari car (I think) thats why he is in one of the pics.
Awesome work, the delta S4 rebuild is pretty good as well and they now have it up for sale for 430,000 Euros
