Does anyone have any other info on what suspension can be swapped in, I see above the astra mod but I'm wondering about corsa or polo/golf Seems to me they'd all be pretty much the same amount of work. Elongate one of the clamp holes, and fab up some axle plates. Yeah that's about it. I removed the rear spring mounts and welded in some fabricated top hats for the adjustable mounts. I deciphered "A"s link on the first page of this thread (with nice red one) And although not certain, I went for the Astra coilover kit. Worked out quite well.

I usually change my agila's look every year or so. this was the last one, and a tribute to starsky and hutch, although my wife and kids were a bit embarrassed to travel in it . I could do with putting some nice rims on it as well.

I did this a few months back. 7/8 x13 slots, stuts converted to coilover platforms at the front and springs shortened all round.

Oooh - those wide arch extensions were just what I was considering to get some reasonable sized rubber under the arches - where did you source them from??
Cheers

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum

I'm resurrecting this thread as I've just acquired another Wagon R, but a later one this time. 2001 seems like just yesterday to be, but is 17 years ago!
I won't be nodding mine drastically, because: daily, but we all know how that promise goes....
Got mine pretty cheap, 67k, full MOT, so should stick around a while...

My Wagon R Wide, XZ VVT turbo (rolls off the tongue doesn’t it?) AKA “the toaster” 1.0 k10a turbo converted to manual Today I stuck some 7x13s on. I know it needs more lows but being my daily driver it has to stay practical-ish Don't suppose you were driving through metheringham a few days ago were you? Saw a wagon r that looked very similar.

Yesterday I thought I had lost one of my Wagon R+s to heavy rainfall flood which ocurred about two hours after I had left my work site. But today I was able to start it and found no mayonaise on the dip stick, only a soaked interior. Lucky me!
