Anyone tried out these Bluetooth cassette adapters? I've been looking up hacks for stereos and if my tape player (80s ford chepo model) doesn't spit it out... Might be the easiest solution for bluetooth John Lewis appear to stock them... £30 though! www.johnlewis.com/ion-bluetooth-cassette-adapter/p1375109Any other alternatives to this?

you can get blutooth connectors that give out a fm signal so that you just tune your stereo to the right frequency and hear your music..

They've gone up in price massively recently! Although, once you get one, it's unlikely to break! lol
Have you looked at whether your unit can be fooled by soldering an aux in into it? I don't know how it's done obviously... Ha

I've got a tape adapter with a lead coming out to a 5mm headphone jack as both my Del Sol and my E30 have their original tape decks. Bought of eBay years ago for £3 and still doing a sterling job.
I had an FM adapter before that and it was OK but suffered from crosstalk. That was back in the day when they were technically illegal, you were considered a mobile pirate radio station albeit with a broadcast radius of 5m.
Bluetooth jobbie looks tricky but it's a lot of cash for what it is.
