www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/169848.htmHow cool is this? Imagine that with banded steelies, taped headlights, and if we're going wild in the aisles lets say a BDA lump powering it... As you were men.

Hey, just noticed the last one was registered in Holland on my mum's 24th birthday (december 1967), and it's still on the road.

sort of. well yes. But we'd rather call them "specials". Before there was a kit car industry there was the Sports Specials market. Done in the 50s they were stuff like the Berkleys and the Rochdale and the Lotus 7. Usually based on old Ford sidevalve donors. However the market kinda changed and only the Lotus really survived and evolved and also stuff like the Bond, Ogle, etc, became the Reliant Scimitar, and the Reliabt Sabre too I guess which were proper low volume sports cars like Gilbern and the rest. Then something else changes and the low volume built cars die off and i nthe 70s theres a launch of the kit car industry as we know it today.

£950 seems quite resonable to me, I think you would need a very big shoe horn to fit a BDA in to that Mr. K I WANT IT NOW!!!
