I had a 70bhp dry kit fitted to my fto......it was great fun,and it gave the car the performance it should've had from the factory.....BUT. The bottle was either always either off or empty when you needed it,mostly empty though as you were lucky to get 10 qtr mile runs out of a full 10lb bottle.I used to have to travel 40 odd miles to get it filled and he'd only usually get 8 or 9 lbs in it.....if i filled it at a show i'd pay £5+ per lb and most ins co. won't touch you with it. Also, make sure you do get a bottle warmer because the stuff barely works when it's cold. And don't forget.....a 75bhp jet won't give you 75bhp,it'll be more like 50.You'll still feel it though as the torque increase is impressive. IMO you won't really need the prog controller until you hit the 100bhp jet mark too,but it may make the bottle last a bit longer on your set up. And most importantly, don't expect the world to go all blury outside when it's activated (not by a steering wheel button ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png) ) ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

Fox on OcUK can frankly suck my ****. He's such a **** (same word) I've seen people comment and slag him off on other forums he doesn't even use. That sums the guy up and I've got him blocked because I'm not interested in reading his trolling drivel any longer. Looking forward to watching this progress, can't wait for you to break something serious tbqfh ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png)

Neither can I - thing is, he's not even 'sociable' any more, he just instantly goes into aggressive mode. Ah well, no loss ;D
Neither can I ;D
It won't be the back axle, so my money's on a stripped 3rd or 4th gear or blowing the intake manifold apart.
Best have me camera ready ;D

what axle are you running? stock sprint? what is its limitations as far as torque?
20p on you hitting the button and the loud pedal, the car remaining motionless or rolling forward and the clutch going "oh...for fucks' sake..." (izzard-stylee) and evaporating...
doesn't *that* ratty firenza run a stock xe with massive snail and passing gas?
blow one, fit another, carry on.

Stock sprint axle will take 300ft.lb, no worries. The clutch might go but it is a heavy duty item and stands up well to launches - fortunately, the progressive controller should avoid most of that issue as it'll only kick in once the drivetrain's already going and the cars on the move and building up speed, negating that effect ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Oi Jonny stop posting like that, I don't know whether to laugh or cry (on OCUK ;D)
Or take each of your points and turn them into little anti-Fox posts ;D....."Oh yes, well, unlike those BMW boxes that fall apart every week......" etc ;D

Goodness me, it's full of BMW drivers and the wilfully under-infomed (also known as a car salesman's wet dream)
What's with putting the speed, torque and power in their sig? Why not just put willy dimensions and be done with it??

Adrian Flux - when I spoke to them they said it shouldn't be a problem. Now I've said that, they'll probably point blank refuse me! Hopefully not however, they seemed pretty lax about it as well as the other things planned ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

It was Adrian Flux said no to me...
Trev had a deal that small (was it under 50 or under 100?) BHP WON kits when fitted by an approved WON dealer could be insured on a special agreement. Unfortunately about the same time AF told a bunch of people they'd no longer cover other brands, DIY fitted kits or kits over 100 BHP.
No idea if the deal is more liberal now as this was approx 3 years ago.

the sig thing...
they just had a rolling road day...so cue willy waving.
OCUK isn't that bad...if you ignore the overwhelming amount of people on there who either know nowt or think they know something...
there are quite a few retros on there and a few people who actually do know their onions.

I think the signature thing is a brilliant idea and have applied it to myself.
Top "new car" baiting though, very funny! Those rusty old bangers, they break down EVERY DAY, you know!
