Hi guys, first off I'd like to point out that that price is completely unrealistic. Its just a placeholder for swaps as I know the car isn't worth in cash anywhere near what I'd want for it.
Right, now thats out the way lets get the boring stuff covered.
- 1398cc MPI 8v
- 2000 'W' Reg
- MoT until end of March 2015
- No service history, but plenty of invoices of work carried out
- 102(ish)k miles
Excellent, lets move onto whats broken, see if you're still interested:
- Drivers window mech doesn't like to go up without some assistance
- Throttle body has a nasty habit of losing comms, ignition reset will fix this
- Coilpack sometimes shorts out on itself, plenty insulation has worked as a temp fix thus far
- The paint is poor, orange peel, swirl marks and stonechips are the order of the day
- There is some sizeable body damage, never repaired because it 'adds character' or some other b*llocks
Bear in mind I'm often tinkering so these may dwindle away, I'll update accordingly.
Okay, if I still have your attention I applaud you! Have some photo's as a reward!
As you can see this is half tribute to Kanjo Racers in Japan, half f*ck you to the largely samey dub scene. Don't worry, they're all vinyl so will peel off with a heat gun
Some things you may not be able to see in the photo's include:
- Modified headlight wiring for USDM side markers and indicators in the fog position
- Lowered on JOM coilovers all round, bumpstops have been removed for maximum lows (and a dead spine)
- 15x8 et20 Cades Blasts and appropriate spacers on a stud conversion
- Double Din conversion whilst retaining the oem heater controls
- Sealed false floor box professionally built by a local audio specialist
Unfortunately the radio and amp has to stay with me as they are both borrowed off friends, all the wiring and what not will stay where it is
So there you go, if you've got this far then thanks, its not perfect, far from it, its pretty terrible, but it gets a hell of a reaction thanks to its tongue in cheek attitude, and its always made me smile whenever I drive it, I just think its time to move on, so try me, I'm open to anything really, standard, modified, modern, retro and from any corner of the globe, lets see what you've got
