As said the Figaro used the March Turbo 988cc engine, not to be confused with the 930cc from the super turbo.
The figaro has its charms but i'd much rather have a Pao or Be-1.

I like them, and I certainly can't be bothered to dislike them just because they're retro-styled - if they look good then that's OK by me. On top of that, even if they looked totally pants, I'd still be interested! If you want to get really contreversial, how about a Mitsouka Viewt - an utterly silly example of retro-styling - still a Micra, but a replica of a car twice the size. I want one!: To keep the picture quota up , here's a cool Figaro:

I think Figaro's are great little things. My good lady wants one, and fair play to her - not too much rot to worry about, it's quiet and has all the things she's used to. If she wants the total classic experience she can drive her bay!

I don't dislike them, I think they are kinda cute, but I think their moment as a "best of both worlds" is eitherpassed or passing as they become "Old cars" themselves..

Are you thinking what I'm thinking, or do you only think you think what I think?

my mum sold her '04 pt cruiser and bought a figaro in topaz mist, we went and looked at about 10 figaros in total, alot of them have been ragged to curse word and sound like they're on their last legs / some have resprays to make them look like the rare topaz mist (way less of them made). The only major problem with them is the cd player which always goes baps up, new one from clarion (i think) is £280. When my mum got her figaro i went through it to check the wiring done on it for the band expander and rear foglight etc.. and found them to be botch jobs, bit of heatshrink and some nice connectors later I'm happy with it.
Having sampled both the cruiser and the fig, i'd say the figaro is miles ahead in terms of build quality and driveability, i like them both in terms of styling, the reliability hasn't come into it yet, my mums one runs like a sewing machine and feels like a much bigger car than it actually is, a very strange experience as the cockpit is very retro, all the fittings are actually chrome as opposed to the plasticy chrome on the cruiser, leather seats and all that. and its got a drop top.
Both cool cars, very unique. Would I own either? Not sure, i wouldn't mind a figaro but i'd look like a woofta. :-D

Are you thinking what I'm thinking, or do you only think you think what I think? I'm pretty sure I know what you think I know you're thinking, I think. Maybe.
