Ive always fancied doing an Aussie ute style p100, n this is halfway there. What about a plastic rollbar/spoiler thing for behind the cab, like this... www.carspicsdb.com/holden-ute.htmlAlso what kind of wheels you after? Is it 4 stud? Got some 17's here. Cheap. Hardly been used. |

Bit bodged so will hide new speakers behind OEM grills  Dash cubby a little warped - should be easy to fix?  Close up of the dust that is EVERYWHERE!!  Poverty spec original clocks and a Granada steering wheel. Wheel being changed for RS 4 spoke  View of Transmission tunnel - I thought it was ok but neighbour doesn't so looking at fitting a complete 3 piece console  Dash centre cubby - again, dust everywhere. Clock works!  Auto Meter Tach & Oil Pressure. Some will like, some will hate - So far, me likey  Granada cloth seats - Perfect condition but I am changing to Cossie Leather - Being skipped this weekend?  Headrests - nothing to see here  Centre console screw covers missing. Trying to source replacements  Ecu mounted on correct bracket above glovebox. Relays for pumps/injection etc below  Started stripping soor panels - speaker on pass side kind of 'Glued' in?  Door card stripped. I would like to fit electric windows but not sure I am capable. We will see.  That's about it interior wise. Plans are as follows Fit RS 4 spoke wheel Fit Cossie Leather seats Fit Central locking Fit electric windows -bit scared of this TBH as I am fitting above Fit New centre console possibly Fit Hi-fi system stealthily - details as below Alpine Head Unit Caliber Amp Rockford Fosgate Components Kenwood Underseat Subwoofer Some of you may be wondering why I am worried fitting 3 & 4 above but not worried about Hi-fi (Comfortable with hi-fi, not with others as never done before) Then clean the hell out of it! |

I'd ditch the bolt on rev counter and just fit a rev counter speedo. Shame though why do people drill through dashboards  I really love the sierra dash. Very cool. |

Whilst I went inside to get a drink, he had it off before I returned.  Cortina thread was my 1st ever attempt at a 'Build thread' as all my other toys over the years, I didn't think anyone would be interested. You have done it again, picked up a real beaut.
Love your plans for it too.
Nice and subtle.
302 is a relatively easy conversion , several people on here have done it to a sierra saloon, not sure if the P100 is different chassis at the front though

Shouldn't be Mr L. I'm going to run it as is for a year or so, then look further into it. I assume I have the same gearbox as fitted to your 105E being a 4sp Auto from a Granny. Should cope with 300hp. If its the A4LD box it has trouble coping with standard bhp let alone 300!! I toasted two of them in a standard Granada Mk3. Horrible nasty boxes. You would be better off with an older C4 box. |

We've always had utes (Ford, Holden and Chrysler Valiant) in Australia since the 50's and 60's and still get commodore and falcon utes til now (though both are being phased out soon). |
