Can you imagine driving this down your local high street? It'd certainly turn heads (including the boys in blue!)

Pizza wagon is where its at for inspiration, these cars need devoted garage action and funds to make them happen.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

You know, these do absolutely nothing for me. Maybe just a bit too 'much'?

I've been in Steve Hudson's T: That drives well. It's bumpy and very very windy but goes like stink even with a relatively stock RV8. I loved watching the front suspension, you can see everything working.

I think I got into it at about the same time! I remember that the first copy of CC I bought (rather than being given them by my dad) was the January 1977 issue, certainly Revenge made its show debut just after that. Remember reading somewhere that Nick Butler still owns and is/was rebuilding/restoring Revenge, but that was a few years ago. Awesome car though, here's a couple more pics of 70's styled Fad T's. Andromeda. Another stunning Butler creation. Chelsea Cruise, Battersea Park 1979.

About time the OOF thread was updated isn't it? I have to say, I'd never own something like this, but my god just look at them!

There was an awesome t-bucket slithering about at the ace a couple of days ago - it was pretty subtle compared to these and I must say i loved it.

Revenge is in Spain being rebuilt, slowly. Andromeda is in Bedfordshire, just been rebuilt after being written off several years ago. I've lucky enough to drive Steve Hudson's T, just for a short distance though, it is hard work but he drives all over Europe ! Russ

My dad built one. It was a nightmare to drive. There's no fun in tooling down the A3 to the Buger King car park in Guildford (I think) at 45, your head being buffeted by a gale, your body being pounded by the sub standard suspension and your ability to look cool hampered by the fact that to most people you're driving a comedy car.
They look nice but for me T buckets are a proper American hot rod and are not meant for the cold, corners or MOTs.
Where are you now YSV 371? I think the new owner took it all over Euorope too.

I  T's! they got me hooked at 13, seeing a bundle of late seventies/early eighties custom car mags at an old giffer rally. absolutley blew my mind! flying bedstead principle andromeda is probably the best and most famous bucket, but they're were zillions of 'em back then. 21" front wheels and hurst air heart brakes, quad weber'd small block, wide hallcraft rears, bill board windshields, drop tubes and brasscraft rads heaven. the car I can never build, because you know what happens when you get your dream car, it turns out to be a right crock another famous c-cab, not as wild as revenge- andy brizio's instant T. still quality today, I spotted it at the classic motor show last year

He! He! B&D, Ask Digger about strange handling, alternate front wheels bouncing off the road at 90 plus!! The way the windscreen 'bends' towards you at the same speed or the way he can cruise around on grass with the front wheels locked!! Pic here, although it is now much changed for this year:

The car's still in the Midlands, Bonzo also owned the 'Boston Strangler' T that Jeff Beck ran for a while, but I dunno what happened to that. If someone has any 1971/72 copies of Custom Car there's a hilarious article in one of them with all of Keith Moon's cars in, and a very funny interview. I've got it somewhere...
