Hi guys. As much as I'd love to fix and keep the Jeep, it just needs too much for not a particularly great example. So, it's a 1993 Jeep Cherokee SE with the 4.0 litre high output engine with an auto gearbox. It runs but has a suspected water pump failure (fins deteriated, common problem) or head gasket gone. Which ever, the water system is pressurising. I've drove it round like this for about two months now and it's not got any worse. Bodywork is dented and scraped on probably every panel. Few spats of rust here and there. The roof is properly knackered though. It's mostly held on with gaffer tape and pog. Wheels are straight with good mud/snow tyres but a bit rough looking. Interior is mostly the same as the bodywork, a bit shabby but all functions. Have some pictures. If there's anything anyone's interested in, let me know

Could you measure the pcd for me? There's a changeover year where the pcd changed, can't remember what year tho I'm interested in the complete rear end/axel and prop. Also, is it fitted with the towing pack option?

how much for the steering wheel pal? It's a little worn in the usual places, but it'd probably clean up well. How's £35 sound? Regards Steve Hi Steve, Tailgate struts are in good working order. Just to let you know, the Jeep has a fibreglass tailgate, so might be lighter than what you've got. Assuming its not going on a Jeep How's £10 for the pair sound? 2nd dibs is yours matey. As above, it's a little worn in the usual places, but it'd probably clean up well. How's £35 sound? I'll get a picture of the wiring too Could you measure the pcd for me? I can measure it for you. From 89-01 I don't think they changed. They are 5×114.3, 25 to 35 offset and 71.4 bore. I'm going to have to drive it to the scrap yard unfortunately. If you have some way of moving a car I can get it off if you can take it to the weighbridge? I'm not sure if its a towing kit from the factory or an aftermarket one. I believe the factory ones have a gearbox cooler where the aftermarket ones don't, so I'll have a look.

A lot of scrap yards will come to you with a hiab and just pick the shell up and load onto a flat bed.
It's 5x114.3 I need, old ford/mopar. Also towpack cars apparently had a LSD.
Where are you based?

Where are you based? Unfortunately a truck can't get close enough to the house to reach it and I can't do it on the road as I live on a dual-carriageway. I'm in North Birmingham/Sutton Coldfeld. Id be interested in the indicator switch if its got the cruise controls on it and would be interested in the wheelarches also It does have cruise control (all working too). Wheelarches aren't in the best of health. Got a fair few knocks and scrapes around them. How's £15 for the stalk and £30 for the 4x arches sound?

Any luck with the pic chap? Hi Steve. I haven't had a chance to pick it up from my parents yet. Will be going tomorrow now, so will grab a picture then. Cheers.
