That cav does look great, have got the thread bookmarked Hmmm street machine style BGT... interesting idea for a future project What sort of finish is on that F150? looks a bit dark and satin(?) to be chrome? perhaps chrome powder coat? Hadn't thought of chrome wrap but would consider that along with chrome powder coat Mm there is a little bit of chrome/stainless steel, but the grille is already pretty much satin silver from the chrome fading so badly and the chrome wiper arms could always be swapped for black ones to level things up a bit.. Theres plenty of food for thought here, I might have to buy a few secondhand bumpers so I can try the different looks out

All the chrome is painted on my Cav - looks cool I reckons That's hard as nails. Do like. Wider non-minilites and it'd be perfick. *n

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum

Doesn't look as hard now as I've raised it up a bit - using it as a 50 miles a day daily was starting to take the mick at that height!

Paint them gold. There's not many colours that work better with BRG than gold and I think you'd get away with it as you've got the gold centres on your alloys. You don't need to redo the rest of the chrome and stainless as that'll match the rim on the alloys. I haven't an exact example of this, but here's a rubber bumper Jubilee edition to show you what I kinda mean. I also reckon it'd be neat to convert it to modified rubber bumpers that blend into the sebring kit as the chunkiness of them would lend some oomph to the Sebring kit better than the chrome bumpers.

Wait, what? Put rubber bumpers on a chrome bumper MGB?
As for the original question; I much prefer chrome.

Hmm gold bumpers.. back when I was a little younger I used to play Midnight Club 3 on Playstation 2 and I always used to modify various muscle cars and VIP-mobiles with all gold chrome trim but I don't think I'm brave enough to do it in real life Nahh don't want the rubber bumpers anywhere near this, I'm not a massive hater of them like many of the purists but wouldnt go out of my way to get them At the moment I think chrome, brushed or painted silver are top of my mental list
