1988 Fiat 126 Bis for sale. No Tax or MOT Located in Wolverhampton.
Selling my fiat as I've got a new job away from the garage I used to work at/ left the car in, So I don't really have time to complete it. I was planning on dropping a 1.2 16v fiat punto lump in. The car currently runs and drives, but has lost 1st gear. It does have a spare fiat 500L gearbox which I am informed is slightly beefier than the 126 one. The bodywork is in ok condition, bit of rust around the arches and a rust hole just below the windscreen, no holes other than that. Underneath is pretty solid. The car has done just over 30k. I am looking for £450 for the car with replacement gearbox. Or I'd love to trade for something a little bigger. Preferably rwd. Volvo or something along those lines.

Seperate right now. If you buy me a pint and I have a few spare hour's I'll fit it. Just haven't had time, working out of town right now, so I'm only back on Saturdays and Sunday mornings.

I went to look at one in Doncaster a week ago but the floor pan was shot and it had more filler than Halfords, plus it hadn't run in a while and needed four new tyres, this one looks a better example. I'm in Leeds so would have to weigh up transporation costs versus taxing it and driving it myself at the minute, I'll get a few quotes : - )

No thanks on the xj6 pal. Already have one on my drive and I can't afford to insure it haha. Let me know if you get some decent quotes on transport. I can probably trailer it to you myself for a bit extra if you come down and see it first.

Afraid I'm no longer after a trade. Just bought an ovlov. I'd take 400 cash in it's current condition. Otherwise I'm going to get it mot'd and drive it the 2.3 mile stretch to work everyday.

Do you know if the gearbox is a direct swap or does it involve swapping drive shafts over etc?

The bell housing needs swapping over. Think after that it's a straight swap.
