WHAT! Vaux POV / OLD BILL spec wheels - BANDED OUT! Disgustingly cool. Oh and if you do go for 15in e30 BBS rimZ, just be a bit careful - they sit right on the limit of legality as they poke out. Alot.

"Clean" and drop on the floor on the tidyest wide wheels you can find/make

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

That's one of the mintiest Mk1s I've seen.
I love that snot green that Vauxhall had.
The chav in me says a 25mm slam and a set of Speedline Alessios (15 or 16 inch).
The XE or C20LET idea sounds a good idea. I'd favour the former as it's a light car and wouldn't a bumload of poke to make it quick.

I'm more inlurve with the old can today I started on the paintwork, flating it, cutting & polishing etc & its commin up a treat. It does need new wings though. I defo want to keep the body & paint as standard. but it needs a drop so next stop ebay. I'm unsure of the wheels yet, i might clean up the old steelies or maybe find an ally set to clean up & chuck on, dunno yet. BTW scuse my ignorance but what is banding? Some nice ideas thanks a lot!
