Do you have anything to do with Piers and his R100? He's out your way IIRC but I can't remember the name of the guy he said worked on his engines. Is it you?

Nice story and I hope its true, but the dates don't tie up if Akku reckons the one he knew of was about ten years ago in 2007. Either there were two scrapped in Warwickshire or one of the two is out on their dates by about ten years. Be interesting to hear the outcome.

IIRC, it sold at auction for around £50k. This seller bought it then advertised it immediately for £100k. Nearly all Cosmos were originally white, as was this one. It’s still white in the engine bay and for many buyers this is off putting. If they’d spent the money on a decent paint job (in white) at the beginning it may well have sold. Now it haas the stigma of a car that’s been on the market too long. |

I like the cosmo, but I'm not mad for it. However, as with almost anything, wheels and a slam make it awesome  It seems they did a retro styled prototype of it in 2002. Not a bad effort imo.  |
