Wow....fantastic pics.... Thanks for that, going down as the best first post in my book too... Did they push those two bugs down the strip then? What was that all about - some pretty lasses too Yeah it was bug push, the tall out of breath one on the o/s/r of the white beetle is me Lewis. Never doing that again ;D ;D

Both Darren and bbb, are your skills just through lots of practise or have you been to college etc to learn how to do this properly? Please do bother, be good to see more photos I started out with a point and shoot about five or six years ago, wanted more creativity so bough a Canon 300D (DSLR) and booked on a City and Guilds evening course (10 weeks of 2 hours), the course got cancelled after 5 weeks but I picked up alot. Best thing though is practice loads. I've taken about 100,000 photos in the past 4 years. It's an expensive hobby though as you always want/need more kit. I'm now using a Canon 5D which is awesome, great colour depth and full frame sensor with lot's of lovley "L" series glass. I try and do a bit of mag work just to pay for kit.

Cool I asked because it looks as though I may be going back to college next year to re-take my GCSE's and one of the course available to me will be Photography. So I was wondering if these courses are actually any good and from what you've said, they are. Looks like a new camera will be on my shopping list as I just use my girlfriends basic jobby at the moment. Heres two of the ones I quite liked that i took.
