Would deleting the backbox have any effect on the engine? I know NA's can be temprimental with a lack of back pressure... Stupid question but what's an NA? I've took boxes out of things before and seen no noticeable drop in power... I'm thinking about lopping off my backbox and putting something tiny in place instead... say the backbox off an SD1, just to keep the noise down a little. That double ARB seems like a cracking idea, think I might give that a shot as I have a spare! To be fair, I have lots of plans but need some time off work to do something about it! |

NA - Naturally Aspirated - Non-Turbo  ? I've never encountered it myself but have heard a far few times that changing and exhaust system on a NA to a larger/less resistance one can slow things down dramatically! Could I not just remove the big back box section and make some noise that way? Lol I'd like some time off to do some work, I just want to collect all the parts I need first then I'll get cracking ;-) |

Yeah, if you change the diameter then it's just the same as having a break in your downpipe... loss of back pressure makes for loud and slow. So keep to the same diameter and you should be okay  That's why I said about the SD1 box, it looks about right and might keep the noise down a little for the neighbours! |

Sorry, that odd face and question mark was mean to be a thumbs up!! Anywho... ok so keep it the same size... So I could just remove the backbox? I'll give it a try, no point flapping gums about it when I could just go trial and error  |

I like it! Never thought I'd have a cherry bomb lol. It's the popping and crackling I like more though, can see me fitting another flame kit!! |
