I like it. Think it looks ace, though, as twincamgti said, not overly practical.
and, can we stop shooting people down just because they happen to not like a car?

I agree with the reason why the front suspension is like that, id rather have em poking through than have poor grip becuase of inefficient suspension. but I actually think it looks pretty cool. would it make any difference to the naysayers if it had a bulge in the bonnet over them? and the idea of no inner wings making your motor conk out is one of the funniest things ive heard for ages the only questionable part in my eyes is the rear wing, but with power figures like these in a rwd car that small, obtained form a small, light 4 pot- Power: Max. 578Hp at 6300rpm, over 500Hp from 5200 to 7700rpm Torque: Max. 706Nm at 4900rpm, over 600Nm from 4300 to 6600rpm and does the 1/4 in 10.5 seconds. it could be painted pink with a huge rubber penis strapped on instead of the rear wing and id let it slide......... that cars got the right to look however the fook it wants imho!!!

yeah i think the suspension pokin out looks strangely attractive, just couldnt understand why its like that, I'm guessing there are engine components in the way, or he just wanted to be a bit different, strange way of doing so. the rear spoiler is obviously there for a very good reason, a car with well over 500 bhp/tonne used on a track needs a spoiler otherwise there is going to be an accident, its called downforce, keeping the grip on the ground

I totally agree with Jack here. For starters it's got NO INNER FRONT WINGS what on earth happens when it rains - all that water will get thrown over the engine and it will conk out! It doesn't need inner wings, it's spaceframed.

Front suspension looks to me like a case of function over form which can in many ways be better than the other way round and actually look good to boot. I'd give it my time of day. Top car!

After much thought I still think the 'A' series Manta is one of those cars that looks perfect in standard form - yellow or orange with a nice set of rostyles Still think he should put some plastic inner wings in though ;D

Yeah wtf is with the suspension? can't see any advantage in having it poking through the bonnet like that! not really my cuppa tea tbh. surely is changes the geometry? by having the strut tops further away the car is lower but retaining a good amount of spring travel and a better wishbone angle for the ride height

the top struts won't affect how low the car is and the wishbone angle. in all likeliness the damper is probably connected to the upper wishbone, and the damper is quite large. i did an assignment designing suspension so i know little about it

Its on struts at the front which is weird as the standard manta is double wishbones with separate coils and dampers.

I dunno what the engineering reasons behind it are,.. but I suspect that enough development time has gone into that car that there is a good reason
