Just got home after an enjoyable day out, thanks to those RR-ers who turned up and big-up thames300e and the ford100e.com posse and the guys from the NSRA who turned up and swelled the ranks as well.
FWD XR2-powered 100e, belongs to Bert Danger Bond (that's his real name) from www.ford100e.com, he and his gf Hannah left Glasgow at 3:30am and were there when I arrived six hours later. They left Cannock at 2pm to drive back to Glasgow, then on Tuesday he and half a dozen mates are riding their scooters all the way to Elba in Italy.
Mrs.V8devon's Anglia estate. It's been on fire this week, you'd never know!
Some local (and not-so-local...the Dodge and Mercury were from Stoke) rodders made the trip.
And your Retro-Riders for today were...
Yeah, I know.....it needs to come down!!
Thanks to everyone, especially Ade (on his way back from the NASC Swap Meet) and LankyTim (I hope the Escort met SWMBO's approval!!) who turned up after a fair few had buggered off home!!
Might run another one there in Sept/Oct to finish the season off if there's enough interest.
Right, I'm off for a dump. That sausage, egg and chips has gone through me like a Porsche
