Finally managed to pin this one down! Been seeing it on and off for a while now but never when I can take a photo, let alone when I'm getting paid to take a photo. Noticed it today when picking up parts for the Minor. Had a quick chat to the owner, and he's built 56 of them! Used to do it for a living.

That^^ is cool. Nice to see it used. Bus owners here spend more time cleaning than driving

Haven't been at work for a week but apparently this has shown up a few times recently. Pretty tidy, and used for work too!

Let's get the ball rolling again... Starting off with this number which was in being sorted for his grandma. Had a leaky radiator due to no cap. Then had this nice wagon show up. Really like those rear windows... Then had another 'stang show up. *yawn* Guy seemed kinda bummed when I asked him if I could take a photo and he said 'yeah sure, you don't see too many around here' To which I replied, 'nah, there's four or five that come through here pretty regularly...'

Is that beige ol thing some flavour of Datsun? You have to respect any car owner with body colour-matched gaffa tape holding their trim on. Going that extra mile with the body repairs always pays off eventually in resale value

It's not even gaffa tape, just ordinary brown packaging tape. I'm surprised it was still on there. Maybe he reapplied it before he left the house. And I believe it was some form of Japanese tin, yes. 120Y/B can't remember which.

Honestly couldn't tell you. I just chatted with him for a minute about the bus. Sounds interesting though.

One of the guys working a couple of numbers down from where the Minor is brought this in today. Am really liking the capabilities of this new phone, too. This is straight off Skydrive with no editing.

Lets drag this one back up from the depths, shall we? *cough* Anyway, got a whole bunch to add, but have spent the evening processing photos from a trip to Penang last year, so have those first. I remember finding out what this was, but it eludes me now. Was kind of surprised to see this in such good shape. Although after a closer look, this is a new rover mini. But still obe of the cleanest cars we saw there haha. And in a good place for photos, too. This Prelude was a little past it I think. That's the harbour. And off to the side of the Prelude... Will sort out all the ones on my phone and get this thing up to date soonish. Cheers, Matt

Oops. Capped myself without realising it. But now I have all the internets back, I can upload everything from the past few months. In no particular order: And this was a Celica that was packed in too tight so couldn't get a good overall shot, but the whole thing looked like this: That there, is ute liner coat. :\ Apparently he was sick of people keying his car. More in a bit. Cheers, Matt

Keeping it going... Really nice old Porsch. Paint needed a bit of work, though. This guy was a bit special I think. Had a great stonking V8 under it with a lot of work. He said it was a 'sleeper'. By my definition of sleeper, aren't they meant to NOT attract attention? There was weld patches all over it. Pretty sure it'd get pulled over for the wrong kind of defects. This hippy bus came complete with thieving hippies. Also saw them up the coast the next day when going 4WDing. Really happy with how this came out. Another straight out of the phone. Fresh Nova. Was meant to do a photo shoot of this but never eventuated. And a VW 1800? Couldn't get a good shot as I fumbled my phone. One more lot to go. Cheers, Matt

While we're updating all the things... This old Valiant was well tidy. And such an awesome shape. Not how I remember them at all, haha. Caught this old girl while I was grabbing a coffee. The owner asked if I wanted him to be in the photo and then did a Fonzy. I politely declined. This is a right piece of work. In for some wiring at the shed. I thought the side port exhausts were the real deal until it was started up and belched exhaust out the back instead. Pretty good effort though. Not sure about the pom poms and tiki stuff, however. Now THIS is the kind of Valiant that I'm accustomed to... My parents had a white one with a green door back in my infancy.. Anywho, that's all for now. Short and sweet. Cheers, Matt

Nice little touches on this beetle. Bit of linework on the bonnet and some nice red accents along the sill, etc. And this FC is in for some work at the shed.

Seeing more and more Datsuns around lately. This one was parked up on my second trip to the suspension specialists for the day. There was also a really ratty 200B on a trailer down the driveway at the workshop.
