Me and Diabolu went up to Malvern last week to drive & shoot a couple of Morgans. Be rude not to have a little nosy around the factory, eh? Clicky. Great pics. Was this an organised tour of the factory ? It's somewhere I've always wanted to go.

Thanks for link. £12.50 is very reasonable so reckon I will visit sometime this year. When I started in another office, in 1981, they had just come back form a tour of the factory and I was jealous but thought only such large organised parties could get access so never looked into it before. Paul H

Fantastic pics guys. That blue racer is sublime.
It's such an interesting, quirky place. A Good friend of mine is Design Manager over there.

I was at the Morgan factory one morning a few years back waiting for Goods-In to open so I could deliver some wings (all 'Traditional' Morgans have wings made by Superform, and have done since 1997), when a couple of the lads out of the main Assembly Shop came out to pick a chassis from the area they are stored in (the chassis are galvanised, and bought-in). They looked a bit quizzically at me when I offered to help carry it in, until I explained that I just wanted to be first to start someone's Mog on its' journey to becoming a finished car. Someone, somewhere in the world is tooling round in one, and I set it on its' merry way. Not many cars get you like that.

Thanks for sharing those pictures. I love these cars & they're keeping what remains of the British car industry alive.

Wrote to Morgan back in the '80's to see if they could send me any information that would be useful as I was going to do a presentation about the company at school. Even though I was just a snotty schoolkid, they sent a ton of literature and asked if it would be helpful if I came for a tour of the factory. Been my favourite car company ever since. Thanks for the pics, would love to do the tour one day.

Charles Morgan's sister for example. The ethos and outlook for Morgan is the same as it's ever been - those traditional vehicles and methods aren't going anywhere. Chris

Some friends visited the factory some years ago and I'm guessing they may not have done guided tours then. They asked if they could tour the factory and the receptionist said sure and gave them a sort of route to follow. My friends asked when the tour started and she replied 'when you start walking'. She then added that as it was a Friday afternoon to try and not talk to the workers too much as they liked a natter at the end of the week, lol. All very quaint and very Morgan.
