Vehicle - Jaguar XJ Sport
Engine - 3.2 V8
Trans - Automatic
Miles - 92k
MOT - October 2014
Tax - May 2014
Location - S42 7AA
I`ve recently taken this XJ in part exchange, so here it is for sale. It`s ready to drive away, with tax and MOT and starts and drives very well. It`s covered 92k, with the service book stamped from the early years up to about 50k. There`s a handful of receipts and old MOT`s too.
It`s in good condition all round. The bodywork is better than most, with no rust visible and just a few minor scuffs etc, which you only really see when looking. Tyres are all decent, with just one being close ish to the limit; probably still got 3mm tread though. It has working central locking, but only 1 key/alarm fob.
It starts straight away, and is a nice almost silent running engine. The auto gearbox is seemless, and it`s a lovely thing to waft around in. The computer says it`s returning 27mpg (this must have been on a run....it`s dropped to 20ish round town), which I find pretty good and better than expected. There`s the usual X308 suspension knock when going over bumps, and the previous owner told me the ABS light sometimes comes on. I`ve done about 60 miles in this, and started it numerous occasions, and it`s never come on for me, but just passing on the info the PO gave me.
Interior is lovely. Nice black leather throughout in superb condition, wooden rimmed steering wheel.....all the luxury you expect with a Jag. CD changer in the boot, standard radio head unit. Electric everything, which all seems to work as it should.
Paperwork wise, I`ve got current and a few old MOT`s, the Jaguar book pack with service book, recent service receipts and owners manuals.
All in all, it`s a great luxury car to waft around in. Looks, feels and drives like a car of far greater value.
No offers at this price please, it`s cheap enough!
Mods; feel free to move to the "boring" area if you see fit
