Many moons ago I used to build horseboxes and did some horse transport. I always felt sorry for the long suffering fathers and vowed then, never to join them, so on the entire horse front, no, no and thrice no! Besides, and as has been pointed out, not only are they bloody expensive, I'd need to buy a much larger cooker. As a poor shmuck currently rebuilding a horsebox i can confrm they are crazy expensive. Apparently all parts as soon as its for equine use you can take the price and just add as many 0's on the end as you feel like that day. Not to mention the endless fight with rot as horse pi$$ will rot anything. . One of the drivers of metallurgy as a science Was the effects of horse wee on armaments. Horses in one end of a building, dissimilar metal explodey things in the other. Can’t remember who it ended badly for, the horses, the person firing stuff that blew up, the person firing stuff that didn’t blow up (probably worse for them a short time later) or people near the building. Anyway Buffalo board is the thing For horse boxes isn’t it ? James

Not to mention the endless fight with rot as horse pi$$ will rot anything. As a follower of your thread, I feel your pain! One of the drivers of metallurgy as a science Was the effects of horse wee on armaments. Another school day. Not sure I'd have any gun in a household full of fiery emotional Filipinos. Fiery? Emotional? Yep, that sounds like them. And that's the irony, right there. With a minimum of fuss, Madam can get licensed up whereas me, who's shot for years can't, because I'm a foreigner. Bet it won't bother the Chinese. "'ere, you got a certificate for that?"

Buffalo board is the ticket for the floor yea, but that doesn't stop it rotting the steelwork around it.

Apparently you don't have to worry too much about the Chinese, their own government is concerned the one child policy has produced in their words, 'wimps , sissies and little emperors who would not be any use in battle'. They now offer schools to turn these boys into 'real men'.

Having stood on a six inch nail that was protruding from a piece of timber during the re-flooring of a horse trailer, may I add that it's not too good for your foot either!

Apply concentrated iodine solution to the wound at the earliest opportunity. As I say to my children, "It will only sting a lot."

Apply concentrated iodine solution to the wound at the earliest opportunity. As I say to my children, "It will only sting a lot." Iodine is a favourite here for scrapes and so on. For everything else, there's antibiotics!

Having stood on a six inch nail that was protruding from a piece of timber during the re-flooring of a horse trailer, may I add that it's not too good for your foot either! Aww I feel your pain, when I was a kid I had to walk the best part of half a mile home with a six inch nail poking out the top of my shoe, that was bloomin uncomfortable, but I couldn't pull it out. My Dad took one look at it, headed out to the garage and came back with a hammer to drive the nail back out! Then when there was enough poking out the sole of my shoe he hooked the claw part of the hammer around the nail head and pulled it right out. I'm not sure if it was any more comfortable coming out than it was going in. A quick dunk of my foot in Dettol then it was off to get a tetanus shot! Probably not my worst day ever, but not exactly a great one either.

Got a serious electrical burn through my own stupidity . Driven to A&E, given painkillers and hooked up to ECG. Hirsute upper central torso, so difficult to get ECG tags on, nurse dry shaves chestal area and lops off top of protuberant mole and that b@st@rd would not stop bleeding. It's early evening, no beds in local(ish) burns unit, no beds in main hospital but one in the 'special' ward. In this three bed side-ward was one guy in a straight jacket strapped to the bed and coming down after a very bad trip, in the other occupied bed was a guy handcuffed by both wrists to the bed with a prison warder sat on a chair next to him. Between Mr. Straight Jacket screaming about spiders all night and Mr. Criminal telling a rota of warders how he was going to kill them all not a wink was slept and early morning decanted into an ambulance where another 10 ECG tags were fitted as the ambulance system was non-compatible with the hospital system. The mole is still weeping. Arrive at burns unit, prepped for cutting out the cooked flesh and skin graft. Fitted with another 10 ECG tags as the ambulance and first hospital systems were non-compatible with the burns unit system. Come round six hours later to nurse wanting to clean up the copious crusty blood on chest so she then pulls off 30 ECG tags and looks like she's enjoying it. All within one day.

Have you considered less life threatening forms of employment/entertainment perhaps? Flower arranging or something?

I mean, it's no colt, but a Deagle is close enough. It should probably have Goodby Kitty on it though.. I think that is probably the most terrifyingly stupid idea I have ever seen!
