I'm intrigued by "New Norweigian Delights Inc. 0.10km". You must check it out and report back to your fanbase. On more Philippines news we've just had contact with a company in Muntinlupa City (not far from you on Google Maps) and as they are totally clueless I'm wangling for an all-expenses paid consultancy trip to your relative location. I can't confirm the necessity to get the beer in the fridge yet but I'll keep you informed ***Go Muntinlupa Mariners*** Unfortunately, the "Delights" of which they speak are dead fish. Ooh, goody. Someone else to help me empty someones beer stocks! Keep me updated. So many questions... Why is it 65003 pesos? Not 65000 but 65000 AND 3. Why is it Fil-am Friendship Highway? I presume it's the "Philippines - America Friendship Highway" so why did they spell it with an F? Why does that nice lady have holes in her trousers? Anyway, ignore the questions. It's a cracking house. Go with the pool. If Frankenhealey comes to visit you can put him up in the maids quarters and he can clean the pool (for a small re-embursement obviously). (And possibly a maids outfit - he likes dressing up!) I'll shut up now before I get in trouble. Dunno but it's prevalent... 5 bedroom House and Lot For Rent in Angeles City for ₱ 70,001 4 bedroom House and Lot For Rent in Angeles City for ₱ 35,005 5 bedroom House and Lot For Rent in Angeles City for ₱ 45,003 And they're just of one page! Filipinas is the Spanish name for the country and you still see it used from time to time, hence Fil-Am Ventilation, I guess, it can get warm over a pool table! I'll have no inappropriate dressing in my house, than you. Unless she's wearing ventilated trousers, of course. And on the subject of maids, I mentioned I might need one for a couple of days a week. "I find one for you. Fat and ugly."

Is it maybe because of the bracketing of the rent on websites? 35,005 Potatoes would put it at one of the cheapest in the 35-45k bracket, for example, so it would show up first. I always think that's an odd phrase here. Offers over 300,000 will be considered.
I mean, $300,000.01 is technically over.

D'you know, that sounds like a damn fine explanation.

D'you know, that sounds like a damn fine explanation. Work for you James? Certainly does. I feel properly educated now. For my whole life I've been told that £59,998 is much better than £60,000 because it 'sounds cheeper'. It never crossed my mind that there would be a reason to do anything else. That varelse is a bright chap. The theory that the lady has holes in her trousers for ventilation I'm not so sure about... I feel that I should to some extensive research on the subject on the internet. I may be some time. (Keep it quiet, Mrs Sweetpea may not understand.)

Once again, I thank you all for the education ( esp varelse ), mental images (the usual suspects ! ), and the entertainment. I'll end there before I say something that might get taken the wrong way sweetpea - PM me if you need any help with your research

Gentleman, I hate to rain on your parade, but it's not the Mysterious East for nowt you know. The internet can merely scratch the surface, providing but a ephemeral glimpse of the reality. No, I'm sorry, if you really wish to closely investigate why the nice lady really wears ventilated trousers, you'll need to do it in person. That's what I'd do. If I were brave enough. I recommend one-way tickets, especially for James who may suddenly and inexplicably find himself persona non grata up at sweetpea Towers. 😊

Considering what some regions of the world are known for you might get more than you bargained for if you go investigating too far. Or is that limited to Bangkok?

George,
I apologise unreservedly for bringing up the subject of the young woman's trousers. It seems to have sent your thread off on a tangent. And what's worse is that Mrs Sweetpea wants to know why I'm giggling and I'm sure as hell not showing her that ^^^ picture!

Someone else needs to take one for the team - makes a nice change from being my fault. Haven’t you got a bit of MR2 to go and resurrect !

Nope, you can find the exotic disease of your choice pretty much anywhere. Bangkok just has a few narrow side streets with a 20 or so bars on each side Hmmm... James, I'm not sure you can take the blame for the children getting all giddy. I was only discussing pool cleaning and look what happened! Haven’t you got a bit of MR2 to go and resurrect ! Give him a chance, he only fixed the Christmas lights in January! So Monday sees us finally into our new office up the lovely Meycauayan. It would have been sooner but it seems that two guys decided that those warning signs on the HV electrical rooms weren't meant for them and I wonder what happens if we just touch this... Anyway, now they've been swept up, This is the journey... That was captured early on a saturday morning, hence the 55 minutes. I reckon around two and a half hours Monday evening. And this will be the new one... Three times as far but only one hour any time of day. And, as it's someone else's car, distance no problem! Hope to get up and view a few places when my January invoice gets paid, so middle of February at a guess. The sooner the better!

That was captured early on a saturday morning, hence the 55 minutes. I reckon around two and a half hours Monday evening. And why has the 'Lavish Lashes Studio" been singled out for attention on your map? DO you wear your own well ventillated panties on saturday nights out?...

Talking about candles... (or not); seeing as the Pacific Rim is getting a bit twitchy at the mo, I take it you are (at present) far enough from any action?

Mount Mayon is around 500kms south of us, at the end of Luzon, so not too near. The problem lies in that historically, an eruption of Mayon tends to kick-off a little herd of earthquakes. We've not had any as yet but to give you an idea, the map below shows the major fault lines just in the Manila area... There's lots of them, isn't there?
