Hi all,
I've been calling around my insurance and It looks like I won't be able to get insured on my van... [Age is against me]
This is getting pretty tedious, buying vehicles that would cost pennies for other people to insure and being told It's £6000 or that I can't be insured...
So up for Sale is my Rascal Van.
It's one of the Last Rascals [Actually a Vauxhall] on a 1993 K plate.
Engine: Suzuki 970cc 77,000 Genuine Miles.
Gearbox: Standard 5 Speed working fine.
Body: Twin Sliding doors, Rear door, loads of storage...
Colour: Blue
MoT: None
Failed on two 50p size holes on Drivers wheelarch. And a Brake pipe running from front to back.
Tax None
Details:
I bought the Van to do up and use for doing deliveries and basically being Retro. I love Rascals and I spent ages trying to find a decent one...
It has no MoT but I have taken it and it failed on a couple of 50p holes in the drivers wheelarch and a brake pipe. I was quoted £150 to see it on the road but I cannot afford to get the work done...
The van is really quite clean apart from a patch of primer where it has had a new wheelarch and a dent in the Offside sliding door, this does not effect use.
The Van drives spot on, will come with original steel wheels, Dunlop D1's with new commercial tyres are fitted. lowering blocks on the back lowering it by 1".
There are LED lights in the headlining to illuminate the interior, very bright and look great... Bags strapped to the sides for books and tools etc.
Comes with a set of standard wheels/tyres, Haynes Manual, original jack etc...
I'll be sad to see It go but I'll never get insured on it [Even if it is sub 1.0] because Insurance policies are stupid. I have never had a crash [Touch wood] It's just the way that insurance companies treat new drivers...
Pictures:
I really want to keep it!
£600 with the wheels.
£450 With the steels
No Offers.
