Saw two of these weird looking '07 platers on the M25 around Clacketts on the M25 yesterday around 15.45 running about 85mph, dark grey .
Anyon know what they are meant to be. Look like apprentice invalide wagons.

They're Skodas new mini-MPV family vehicle. Versitle, stylish, modern and spacious they answer all the calls of a modern family. There are a range of engines, both petrol and diesel. I like them. Expect to see the new Fabia to be similarly styled.

I understand the 'two room' concept thing they tried to do with the windows, but I don't think they pulled it off tbh. If anything it looks more like a van with windows.

I rate Skoda very highly in the Value sector. BUT: That looks like it is the ultimate parts bin special , especially the panels which each seem to represent a different model.
I drove next to them for some distance trying to understand the design and layout, but failed miserably.
However, I am sure they will prove themselves worthy in time.

they look appalling! sorry, thats a little harsh, but they could have shaped the door windows properly for a start. I think thats what "breaks" it so much in the first place. C for effort, F for final exam. but I don't really like modern cars much anyway, and certainly not stockers. in 15 years time, a euro look roomster may be the hot ticket tho

Yet another car designed with 19th century top-hatted villains and high-ranking officials of the roman catholic church in mind. Surely this is only a very small 'demographic', so why so many manufacturers offer cars that are needlessly tall is beyond me.

Surely this is only a very small 'demographic', so why so many manufacturers offer cars that are needlessly tall is beyond me. It seems to be the trend. Auto Express this week had an interesting picture for a used Corsa article with a Nova and the three generations of Corsa lined up next to each other. The new Corsa dwarfed all the others - the window line started about a foot higher than the others and it was loads taller. And that's just a 'supermini'.

As with 99% of modern bilge-mobiles, it gets a Meh/10 from me.

As with 99% of modern bilge-mobiles, it gets a Meh/10 from me. lmao (which is gross with this cold...) the roomster is spectacularly ugly. its dull and bland but got its own USP as every car is trying to get now. and i did decide a couple of years back on seeing the debuted model (geneva iirc) that i would have one, in some vile 70s colour, scraping the deck...

I've actually driven one, it drives like a normal small car but has the massive capacity in the back. I chauffered one of my mates in the back and he loved it! The concepts pretty good, very flexible with the seating arrangements and stuff... And yes the new fabia is going to be along the same styling, which isn't really my cup of tea.

I reckon it's nice to see Skoda doing something quirky yet practical, a description that could be applied to a lot of cars from their history. I must admit that when I first saw one I thought WTF? but they are now growing on me. 8-)Still damned ugly though, and I still prefer proper retro cars.

I just got my mum one of the old ones on run out, one of the reasons I didn't wait was because this one doesn't appeal to me.
