so the story goes like this................. me and a freind are scrapping a pug 405 and I think.. hummm.. that spoiler looks quite universal.. (not that I like spoiler very much ) so I unbolt it thinking it may come in handy for something/ebay it for some pennies.... so yesterday I get a bit bored and think humm maybe in matt black on the back of the volvo?? maybe not..?? but it looks not too chavvy?! about the right curve for the back.. anyway ive now drilled the otherwise perfect bootlid and bolted it on.... and I don't think I like it very much at all!! am I turning into a chav/boyracer?? well maybe if I cut down the mounting pillers to get it a bit closer to the body?? with a better angle?! no? I dunno please help my very bad car fashion sence that I'm experiencing at the moment.. while I pop down to hellfrauds for a set of neons and a carbon fibre airfreshener to clip on the air vents...NOOOOOO! here I go again!! help me please..... si

I bet if you cut the posts down so that the ends sat nearer to the body then it wouldn't look half so bad. :-)

You could always remove the cross bar and just leave the uprights. I've seen this on loads of Saxos (why oh why??)

Looks like it may just be on backwards too - surely it is supposed to slope down at the front, not the rear ?

looks curse word, you really buggered it up!! but nothing a bit of filler or grommet wont fix, just thank yourself you realised you had a problem early on, and talked it through with us first before you went into the spiral that is, 'Boy Racer Hell'!

I think the biggest mistake you made is posting pics on here and asking for opinions........ I mean, WHAT were you thinking? Just take it off pronto, weld up the holes, fill and repaint. Nobody will ever mention it again. Promise.
