Another good year! I'm excited to see where the show goes with some experience of the venue now. I know it would incur huge costs probably and a hell of a lot more organisation but it felt big enough to be a full two day show? With all of the stands and the hill climb action there's so much going on now. Still, a cracking show, cheers!
'92 Vauxhall Carlton 3.0 - Slammed and stripped '89 Ford F150 - Loaded up and Truckin' '71 VW Baja - Aircooled cool '94 Vauxhall Astra 1.7td - Isuzu power! '78 Vauxhall Chevette - WIP, it'll happen one day
Finally made it back to The Emerald Isle today, 1174km, about 60 litres of petrol, and all the Minstrels! Absolutely shattered, but mojo levels at 110%. Trabi was absolutely flawless throughout, writeup tomorrow, or as soon as I can articulate a cogent description.
Yeah I saw a couple of mopeds around and I'd have probably asked them to stop if they were close to me to be honest ... I reckon you could get away with electrical things though (which may be handy for getting up and down the hill).
Thats the point I was making, if they were using them to get around the show, to help out with marshalling etc then its cool.
If they are just using them instead of walking its not really suitable. When the cars were all lined up on the stands, apart from the odd car heading off to go to the hill climb thre was no traffic and everyone could walk around safely. With mopeds in and out of the crowds, its an accident waiting to happen.
Yep we (muttley racing) bought one honda vision with us compared with the three we bought last year to Prescott. It's tax moted and insured and no one told us not too ride it.... I did see two other visions although they weren't low
